Supergeil man, dat witte licht!
Keep it up
Soon my mod(Obsidian-Spire) will become something that can stand any competition, even your!
You have taken some inspiration from my mod(extension), now i will take some of you!(but not 1:1)!
Maybe we will challenge at the coolermaster casemod competetion, but I´m not sure that my mod will be finished.
Keep up work!
Thanks, i'm interested how your's gonna look like.
Mine would be finished neither, but finished far enough to work on it. (watercooling running, and mounted mobo+cpu etc.)
Looks like a pro case!
Whats your budget on this projekt?
Looking great! You really do give a lot of attention to detail.
I especially love the wire routing using the break cables (maybe just because I'm obsessive compulsive and I like things to be in right angles and straight lines).
ohh wow, that lit up piece of perspex looks amazing, like something from a film set
looks like another winner at the coolermaster casemod comp 2 me
Thanks all The feedback is very supporting it keeps me modding
Not very large, i'm a 19years student, almost all the money that i earn i used to buy casemod parts or tools. So i'm very happy with my sponsors
On the other way it's good to have an small budget, because you must make everithing by yourself instead of purcasing it. To prevent getting a premod case
Impressive. Now hurry this a lil bit up.
The system is up and running, NOT finished, but it works
Mounting the plexi piece on the meshX (bottom view)
Mounted the watercooling stuff. Note that there is only 1 way to mount it/remove it. 2 stackers, and still few space left
I still had to make this grill. Done now
My new procc.
Up and runnig, a very special moment Also because this is the 1337'th pic i made with my camera
The inside (the p-ata cables will be removed)
No, it isn't a strange color in the water, only a large amount of air. second note is the red tape, it covers the fill-hole on top (the water would otherwise came out trough it
Tonight i made the sides around the lower grill
a sand blasted spider web on the sidepanel. I want o make something on the top windows too.
I hope to finish the uppergrill this week too. And do some other small things, depends on the time i've got left
thats freakin awsome *two thrumbs up*
Been following this for a while now. Really like the mod and everything all around.
On the chasis painting, how is it now? ie is it sensitive? I am painting my chasis black and am worried about how easy afterwards it will be to chip it.
Thanks for any insight you can give to this.
I expected the paint to be a little bit stroger. On flat parts it's not a problem, but on points where you slide the sidepanels over, or slide in the HDD brackets it comes off a bit. Not a real problem, it isn't a powder coat. So i must live with it It looks better than the sandard color anyway
Good, clean mod. It's well-done, and I like it. Nice work, bro!
very very very nice mod!
I have Problems with my white led´s in my plexi. It isn´t brighthly enough, I have 4 led´s mounted in one plexi, each 6000 mcd.!???!! How did you get it so brightly.?????
You will be the winner of the contest , i haven´t enough money to buy the parts that I need to go forward with my mod...
Thanks all, i love to get some feedback
I'm using 120 degree led's with a output of 1200mcd, that doesn't seems to be much, but you could compare it with your led's i think. (because the wide angle) so might you could try another setup of the leds?
hmmm, I will try it with wide angle LED´s, that means i will make it myself. just fill of the led´s.... but i don´t think that will solve my problem...
mhh, a thought: Do you use normal plexi???
Jes, normal plexi, 5mm, i also used some 2mm and that worked fine as well.
Well, today i went to a +/- 2000 visitor's LAN party in the netherlands, i won the 2'nd price on the casemod competition, very aceptable for a casemod that is'nt finished at all (past year i was 2'nd too )
Anyway, hier enkele pics:
I finished the sidepanel, and made a piece beyond it for casebadges.
Because there is a piece of alu in front and beyond the window you get a nice depth.
On thursday i received some CCFL's, all of them in UV, i was short in time, so i was only able to place the 20cm CCFL's on the front.
I replaced the standard packages for some smaller ones
2 pictures on the casemod contest, here you can see the result of the 20cm CCFL's. And the price's i won.
well done mate. well deserved! great mod so far, but is it big enough?!!
