Very nice rig, I like the way you attached the acrylic sheets... Give it a different look. An idea I have would be to replace the "screws" with a bolt and an Acorn nut? But I've always been a fan of the acrorn nut... hehe
Yes I can agree with that but you forgot that I'm in Portugal and the temperature outside is around 25º. you ( since you live in netherlans ) of course must have more cool outside.... belive me... my temperature for portugal it's super.....of course since I'm using aircooling...If I had a watercooling ou vapochill or Prometeia the temps will be better... I agree with you but I had already 2 PSU here in the house ( DEER 300W and a Chiftech 340W ) so for me it was more cheap to use them than buy a new one... I have in this moment more "power" than any one else 630w...and with this it will be very difficult to not have sufficient power to anything that will come in the future. What's that ????
Ah, if you had the PSU's already then that's cool, saves money I've got a bid on eBay on a 400w 2x Redundant PSU: 2x 200w PSU's in one ATX housing: both work at 100w unless ones dies then the one left takes all 200w by itself and sounds an alarm (Hope I get it cos it's gonna rock ) For an upcoming server project
Hi Albertoliveira, very nice project, good job! Do you have any specs for the case? Like dimensions, divisions, weight, temperature, drawings, etc.... Because I'm building my own cube and I have difficulty seeking the "best" dimensions for it... Thanks.
Not just to save money. Two PSUs combined have more maximum power on the 12V rail than any single good PSU (okay may be not the super expensive Enermax 650W ones), where almost all the of the drives and cooling devices are based upon. And... I always wanted a redudant PSU that fits ATX You got a link??? Thanks.
No way, i don't want you to outbid me Edit: Cos i'm nice here's a link to a simular one. http://www.voidedwarranty.com/reviews/63/index.shtml This one's 400w and has two power connectors. Basically the same but a little nicer with more features.
im sure 340w would be plenty for that system... it dont look like it has that much power draining from it!
well I don't know...with those 2 fan's in the front with 165 cfm's each, and a CC and another fan, and a lcd. I want my line on 12V to be powerfull and stable for the system...and you shoul know that this "things" consumes a lot of power and they are not stable.... 37.5 x 37.5 x 35 cm 28 Kg's 36º idle - 38º full load ( cpu toast ) drawings....all in my head and a lot of papers... more pics in "my" forum...
