Scratch Build – In Progress Project Ignotus - Ignotus finished - 2 Feb 2013-

I am working on the psu right now so here is a small teaser.

Realy awesome scratch build! I just can't understand only one thing: how the reservior is holding in its place? It looks like there is nothing to hold it...

Update 7.

This weekend it was time to do some modding.The psu didnt look right so i had to give it an industrial look to fit in with the design.

First i made the bottom plate from 2mm stainless and made de mounts for the print.





Then i made a frame of 10 mm stainless rods and a fan mounting bracket.















This is how it looks with the print mounted.

Nexxo beat me to it. 1/4" bar roll cage for the PSU? I don't think even NASA builds that sturdy.

I think your warranty would(SHOULD) stay in effect if the manufacturer saw this.

I thought I had most indestructible! Seriously though, this is insane. I wish I could weld half as well as you-or had even a third of those tools. Every log you do makes me jealous, but mostly for the amount of skill you show in using the stuff. Doesn't matter what tools you do or don't have if you can't use them, and you can, so that's the important thing here.

Update 8.

This weekend it was time to work on the psu again.I also received 2 nice packages from Bitspower and Lamptron.
