almost done with the roof. used M4 body screws countersunk but one of them has to be replaced.

So I havent been updating lately because As I stated few weeks ago my 280x with Wb which I was going to use died so I have been saving up some cash to buy another GPU (Nvidia). So after few days this buildlog can keep on going and I wanted to let you know that I have not abandoned the project.

In the Meantime my son and I made this small square box 450mm x 350mm and that was my sons Idea so he and I can store more hardware components and Watercooling fittings he said.
The Picture is of the bottom of the box.

When Gpu Comes

Sorry, Bad joke But yeah I got it in my hands the card and it is MSI GTX 970 Tiger OC Edition.
So I put the motherboard in the System and since I started this project with an Amd Cpu I will finish it with this motherboard even though I want to switch to my Z97 Platform for this build but I have decided to use tha Intel build in my next project , starting soon because it is so fun modding and making things the way I/You want to do It...

Full of dust and needs cleaning but it will be tubed up and blocks put on when I Get the Waterblock for the 970

Staying excited. Waiting for the VGA Wb to arrive which I ordered today.

Training the cables and see the system before I take it apart to install the Water cooling components.
The Gpu has been running smooth and quiet and I always check that out before I install Waterblock on it.

Well My beautiful EK Waterblock has arrived and I am thrilled...
I hope to do a small Mod on the backplate and will show result sooner rather than later















Also I am working on a custom Radiator Grill and those who look carefully enough should / could make out the case beneath '? A future mod perhaps in form of making it a Real PC hehe

 

So today I have been setting up my next project and working on this one.

Had to plug my Z97 mobo So I have a working fast PC while building up the loop on this project

Also I wanted to make a Radgrill for the front Rad and have started hacksawing and I wished I had a scroll Saw but that is a item I will definetaly invest some money in before I do more builds !

Lot of Sawing needs to be done but using this 2mm aluminum shroud over the Rad will look much better than the bare Radiator

Hi everyone...

Today I Have started on the tubing. Some pics after I installed the cpu and gpu block + Ram modules. Sorry to say that I got white block but was going for a clear one so I might not install the white one .









Here is the block with the White top but I thought I ordered clear top... Oh well

Hello everybody.
I decided not to use the white Ram block cause it does not fit the Theme
But will do some changes when I get the clear version If I buy that.
So tubing is done and I did not manage to fit my PSU cover back because of the pump & Fittings so there are things to be done before this project is over but I am very pleased with the outcome.
What do you think ?

doing that PSU Cover using aluminum and plexi in two parts for easy installation and removal when ever I feel like it

First the preparations made :



Then I will do three coats of Satin Matt Black finish
