Any plans for your empty 5.25 faceplates DRB? :naughty:

Mnpctech Billet Machined 5.25 Drive Bay Blanks and Toggle switch covers. Available here

FYI: I'm considering making 3.5 bay covers during the next production run if theres enough interest?

4 seperate would probably give the best cooling

but the tubing to join them up could look a mess, so 1 group may be best ...

I'm keeping my eye on this one... I think I have an idea of why it's named "Infinity."

hey nice mod i really like the side mounted passive rad, but i have one question... isnt the mix of copper and aluminium bad, as in causes nasty stuff and things to happed to your cooling?

Wow, nice set up, the loop is... elegant.

One query though is, aren't the passive rads intended to be verticle? Surely you'll get warm air trapped in the underside fins?

Hi Ener, thanks for your comment and question. The aluminium in the loop is all anodised which gives it a protective coating so the bare aluminium is not in contact with the coolant. I also use an additive which helps to prevent galvanic corrosion and algae growth.

Hi JCB. Technically the rads should be mounted vertically to get the maximum performance but due to the size of my case they stuck up past the top and i didn't like the way it looked. Mounting them horizontally was more aesthetically pleasing and i was prepared to sacrifice a few degrees for the way it looked. Incidentally Fibbles, one of the moderators from wizdforums, was also planning on fitting a passive radiator and contacted the manufacturer to ask about the orientation. They said it did not really affect performance in most circumstances.

you also have another rad mounted at the front so direction wouldnt make that much of a difference with the passive
yeah i was thinking the inside of the passive rad might of been copper with an aluminium outside
