Looks very nice, are you going to polish the bezel?
wow thanks, yea smooth and clean look im adding to give it that slimline look.
Well the front Bezel is still gonna be getting a 120mm fan and also a mold on the front. Kinda hard to draw it out, will look very similar to this picture.
Thanks for the comments guys stay tuned, its the weekend more modding to come
Another small little update...
I got the studs in for the motherboard...
I made a new back panel for the case of the case, other one wasnt right, then im not gonna use that red piece from RedDevil.. Im going to do a RedDevil style and only have a hole for the motherboard back plate... and the a slit for the Gfx card only, coz i dont have any other cards in my machine.
Then ive made the cover for the Powersupply, needs some more work of course but im gonna get to that tomorrow...
Other than what ive done here, i just gotta wait for Robthepyro's Dremel
Here are the picture's, arent really the greatest, but they be fine
Coolbeans thanks guys
Very nice metal work, when will we see the bezel?
well i gotta get my mate's dremel so i can cut the 120mm hole in the front. One ive done that, bezel time for sure
Whoa such nice and clean inside. Do you plan any special cable management?
Yes i do indeed, gonna be very clean inside there, with very few cables.
Gonna have to wait and see mate
im looking foward to it
HOLY FAN! that is REAL JET from an airplane! wooot that is SLICK! do you see that fan! The colour is hot you doning great job
Computerking im gonna be doing something like that jet fan mod in the front, Gonna be candy/brilliant Red, that is just an example picture
I was playing around with my neons that i have check it out. But im not gonna be using them coz i wanna be able to see certain things lit up and some things not at all. And the just LED lighting. When i get to the lighting stage you guys will see.
Just to show you guys.
Great work there Doobs, have you considered polishing the internal aluminium ?
Yea im gonna be spray the aluminum White inside, thats gonna look sick. I look at polishing it inside, maybe that will do it aswell,
So it's either white or its Polished, i'll see how funds go, I need a sponsor
i'd say polish it mate with all that alu in there it'd be rude not to and with all the clean un-cluttered lines it'd look well cool
not saying it doesnt already, but polished it would be cooooooooler
yea i think i am gonna polish it up hey. just took my front bezel and polished it quik with brasso, and check this, Obviously im gonna need to sand all these panels to a fine smooth finish before i get to polish them all, but i think its worth the time and alot of elbow grease.
looking slick! deffinately polish it!
Hey Guys its another UPDATE, YES YES. DREMEL Time.
  Well First of all, A big thanks to Robthepyro, if it wasn't for him, i don't think my project would have gone much further for a period of time i couldnt tell.
Thanks Bud
Ok panels that needed the following holes cut:
Back Bezel -- PSU Hole, Radiator Hole, I/O hole and the GFX card slot hole...
First up the I/O hole: Measure and cutt to my liking
Ok next the Radiator hole, as you can see in the previous picture, i used a plastic sleeve and stuck it to the radiator and then drew and outlined the hole that needed to get cut. Best idea i could come up with, I did look on the net for a template but they were a different size..
You can also see that i've punched the places for the screw holes. Ok this one is all done.
Ok guys i've noticed that this Disk, does the best job from all the other 3 different ones i have, I was able to cut just over half the hole for the radiator, with just using this one disk, they clever Fragram, they give you like 5 of these disks for if i can remember it was R40 or so. And it you get a few in th kit if you buy those and not separate. I also noticed its cheaper to just buy separate than to buy the full 150 piece kit for R225, yea the price has gone up... scaly people.
This one on the other hand just gets eaten, but i knw what you guys are thinking, this disk is most probably meant for some other type of medium.
Anyway hes this disk:
Next up the PSU hole, all marked up and screw holes punched once again for this section. Pictures as follows:
Starter line all the way around with the dremel disk
All good and cut, after using a good 8 of those red disk's, as the good
ones ran out.
Next up the PSU cover vent hole for the powersupply, there is a 92mm fan on the psu cover itself. All marked out and measured...
Went around to get the track to make it easier and quiker to cut the round 92mm hole.
And then the finished cut 92mm hole... after using yet another say 6 or so red disks.
Alrighty next Hole the Front Bezel 120mm hole cutting prep . All drawn out
Now ive done the track like with the 92mm hole, as i said making it easier to cut. Used a good 8 disk for this,
And the finished cut, not bad not bad.
Ok well here are the finished panels. The next thing to do is sand all them edges to get them even and smooth. After that, it would be time to get all actual panels all sanded proper, and get them mirrored to goodness.
And then all 3 panels.
Well thats all for a Good Monday Public Holiday,
Enjoy and until next time...
nice work, but i think you need to invest in a jigsaw and some nice metalwork blades for it! would certainly save on the dremel cut off wheels...
Ive got a Jigsaw and the blades, just wanted to do these panels the safe way, with out any trouble's, I don't mind doing time on work like this. And also aluminum bring soft, the need to clamp down these panels, kinda of a mission. Dremel is alot easy. Cleaner aswell
Thanks for th comment Guardianstorm
Hey guys, ive done a few small things to my case, wont post pics yet, and also having trouble with money... so gonna take me a bit longer to get my case going. But i shouldnt need to speed much more.
