Thanks for the info marco. I really want that case, but the cost would be outrageous with shipping and everything. That is if they would even ship to the U.S.

wow, there's no way I would try and desolder the caps from a mobo of my own! :p Looks like there's some great things happening here. One note about the PCI-E/AGP slot: don't forget that AGP has a tab at the inside end of the edge connector for the lock mechanism, and will require about 1.5-2 cm additional length in the cover slot to let the card fit in.

Awesome looking case design and progress. I love the white lite with the mesh cover. One quick question, where did you get you fiber optics cable?

    Thanks :)

That optic fiber is from regular 5m Toslink-cable (between Hifi amplifier and CD-player etc...) about 10€ www.bebek.fi here in Finland. I just stripped the outer plastic "shield" so that the fiber will be thinner... And cut it to 10 half meter pieces :)

    Hi all!

I've been waiting to get some money to buy that plexi that I need to properly start my REAL moddig...

But while we're waiting..... here's new render on my plans:

I decided to move PSU to case bottom so that it might be easier to mount in to plexi.

Wise decision to mount your psu underneath.. as mine is above the motherboard and makes to plexi-panels kinda 'bent'. Still have to solve it with some extra screw/holding mechanism. Still waiting on a beter psu to do it for.
    Nice mod! subscribed :cooldude:

Instead of using ugly angle brackets you could get some cast acrylic cubes and drill/tap them for the same purpose.

I have not posted this picture before, because I wanted this to come up later, but...

This is the paint I'm going to use inside my plexicase ;) (actually clear metallic color and white color over that) so SURPRISE: It's not going to be all transparent. Only a transparent "window" on one side.

I'm after somekind of "mac white" feel...

So, it doesn't matter if I use angle brackets ;)

    Testfit of plexipanels

Here's what I did last night:
    Testfit of plexipanels.

Now I need to measure and testfit the right positions for "false bottom" and HD / CD-ROM "bay?".

    ...to these beauties.

(Just to be able to attach the last panel to the case).

And here: PSU on place (notice that I changed my plans from renders to place the PSU UNDER the midsole)

Looking good dude.. I might have to borrow the mobo idea if you don't mind hehe..

One question.. is that plexi blue transparant or is it just the cover on it?

Keep on modding dude.. I can't wait to see how this turns out
