Mounting the mobo in place... I did have really huge problems getting the screwholes on right places, but managed it somehow.

Next adveture: attaching out take fan to case...

Outtake fan installed and light's connected!

This pic absolutely and most definitely doesn't make right for those lights.

I really love the looks of the stealthed mobo in combination with the lighting, absolutely awesome! I'm impressed by the look of the case with the fastening method you used; I didn't think it would look that good unless it was glued. Good luck.

Thanx, I too love the lights :)

Important thing at this point (when the case is incomplete) is that I can assembe and disassemble the case numerous times. That's mainly why I desided to use screws (or those aren't actually screws, more like bolts). And those metal bolts look great when I paint my case in white! I hope...

    Windowside paint

Here's the sideplate with window (window's actially vertical, not horizontal like in this picture, and made with racing car window film on backside of plexisheet)

And here's closeup of the paint/chrome window... you SHOULD see the metallic glitter and white paint, both painted BACKSIDE of plexisheet...

Windowside at dark, light inside on.

How did you isolate the back of the mobo stealthplate ??

Isolated?!? Whos he ? ;) only kidding...

Actually I have NOT isolated it. I have examined every single place on mobo and I can not find any place that stealthplate would come even "close" to anything conductive. There's actually few places where the plate touches mobo components, but all of those components are made of plastic.

I could be wrong, and that's why I'm lucky to live very near to a computer shop :dremel:

Thanks all :) I feel very good about this project :)

    Now:

I placed tiny leftover rubberpeaces between plexi and HD brackets to prevent noise from travelling thru care...

And optics, still working :) I placed optics circuit board in the HD department below all disks...

AND you may have noticed that I switched my PSU.... to newer Nexus...

    Optics on frontpanel

Optics placed on frontpanel. I drilled 1mm holes halfway of plexi and just sticked optic fibers to holes.... in final installation I plan to use hot glue.

those front panel lights look really nice, you'll have a big job hiding their wiring though...

About wiring: Not problem after I've painted the frontpanel ;) The whole case is going to be painted metallic white from inside. I wish I had proper camera to take quality pics from sidepanel I've made, you would see the "mac like" white finish...

PS. I don't like the way pictures show those lights.. those are under 1mm in diameter !!! so quite beautifull in real life :)

I broke my dremel's diamond disk, so I have no means of cutting prosessor & AGP holes in mobo stealth, that's why stealth has been removed from case at this point :wallbash:

    Case partly assembled again... Powered.

Closer pic of mobo. Red lights are from bios diasnostics & wake-up power etc.
