To keep you guys updated ..

Couldn't do anything this weekend cause of 2 little problems.

First of all off course the wrong EK RAM Dominator block.
Hope i can send it back this week for the plexi version :)

Secondly, the Silverstone Strider ST1500 kept giving problems.
Even after replacing the fuse from a B16 to a C16.
It kept rebooting, sometimes after an hour, but also sometimes when booting.
Tried all possible combinations with the 2x 25A for all the hardware.

I could borrow an XFX Core edition 850W temporary (Nice thing btw full OC and full stress 1050 watts from the fuse)
The Strider goes RMA, ordered something else back.
Going for a "Single Rail" psu again.

    Also the 2 x 80 Gb Intel X25m 1st Generation ssd's are sold.
Going to be replaced with something else too.

So next week alot of work to do.

The strider couldn't hold it :(

    Found this at work.
I want to use it for the Reservoir, move it over the old RVS studs

This is how ill be sitting behind the desk this week :)

    Ordered @ Highflow.

I was going to suggest either one of those PSU's or a Revolution 85+ :p Odd about that one going funny on you though. :(

Looks stunning mate :) It's useful that PSU is fully modular as it means you can just remove it fully to clean any dust out :)

Just a though, what's the total cost of this setup roughly?

Well i never counted it all together.
    I don't even know if i want to :)
But the desk only, so without the hardware and WC is around $1200.
But thats when you stick around 300 hours of work in it yourself.
No clue what it will cost when some company makes it for you.

    Holy cow, this is insane.
I never really liked built-in systems, mainly because they're stationary and I thought it'd be a shame not being able to take it with you...

But this one is so cool that I changed my perception of built-in systems.

I do, however, have one small suggestion (OK, it's not so small after all, hehe):

Why don't you paint the internals of the desk? The brushed metal COULD do with a matte black colour, or perhaps a color that matches the power color on the outside? I just suggested a slightly different color to not make everything too dull. ;)

You know what would really suck?

If you finished it of by putting down one of those massive XXL mousepads :p

This is so cool, screw the monitor i would always be distracted by the pc

Well ok, i guess new price of the hardware around
4500, the WC part around 2000.
    Damn i didn't want to know :)

    1 year ago i thought the same^^
But i realized im not going to lans or anything anymore.

Now i think its perfect in my situation :)

Somewhere i already mentioned it's going to be powdercoated in matte black ;)
But cause of a very busy job i need to find time to take 3 days off for it.

I had an XXXL mousepad before this build and i was totally in love with it.
Specially bought this Qpad small for on the glass :)
And certainly don't screw the monitor, once you've used an U2711 you'll know why :p
