I know what you should do! You should make a couple of arms out of isopor, attach them to the manequin (I guess you understand where) and then hook them up with a couple of servos! Connect the servos to a switch, and you've got yourself a fully working evil-hellraiser-dude! :hip:

For servos you should check out this site http://www.bpesolutions.com/product.html

It's the same place that Crimson Sky gets his electronics!

Almost all the leather work is finished, there are a couple of spots that I need to attach some Velcro, like the side section for the motherboard ports...

I also need to Velcro the piece of leather that will wrap around the neck. Since the leather adds a layer of thickness to the cut-out parts of the torso I decided to run a final test fit of components, below is the shoulder mounted fill port and the handle.

The abdomen and chest sections are finished, all the hardware is installed and it lines up nicely.

I did a test install of the PSU, HDD (with WC block), radiator (without the fan) and the motherboard tray.

Here is a shot of the back. I used a plastic mesh to cover the area on the bottom where the pump will be installed to allow easy access to the pump and fittings if needed, it blends in well.

Next I will begin work on the arms, when the size 6 ladies leather pants arrive I will use those to cover the arms.

The handle in the 'neck' is soo good man. People will be looking for you in the lanparties and in the metro if you carry that thing there. Anyways, excellent work. Oh btw, isn't Hellraiser the ex mascot of maidens, or am I just mistaken with the name?

I watch a lot of horror movies, so I am fairly familiar with them. I was at work thinking about the HellRaiser movies and how they have gone downhill since the second one. The third film "Hell on Earth" had cenobites that were created using their surroundings and seemed like their malformities were job related, ie. the DJ cenobite had CDs popping out of his head, the cameraman cenobite had a Borgish camera lens for an eye, the bartender cenobite had a drink shaker etc.

That little bit of idiocy really got me thinking... what would happen if the cenobites came for a case modder? After thinking about that question for a few days I wrote a short story about it... after that I knew that I had to build it.

It isn't Eddie from Iron Maiden, thought there would be nothing wrong with it to me if it were... Iron Maiden rocks old school. Maybe there are some similarities, but Eddie definitely has his own look...

I installed four red LED rocker switches onto the shoulder blades to control the lighting mods.

To begin making arms I first drew and cut out a template to trace onto the scrap aluminum from the top window on MOBY2... never throw good scraps away.

    http://www.casemodgod.com/Hell121.jpg

I cut them out with a Dremel and filed them smooth, next I puzzled together some hardware so that they can attach to the torso.

    http://www.casemodgod.com/Hell122.jpg

Below is a test fit, everything lines up good and feels solid.

I removed the base from both Viewsonic speakers then cut and drilled four strips of flat Alum-Angle to hold them in place.

    http://www.casemodgod.com/Hell124_copy.jpg

Here is a parting shot of both speakers installed, not too shabby considering I built the assemblies on the fly with no real plan.

Of couse they will be hidden, they don't really fit the theme as-is. I was just updating the work log, not posting anything final.

Now thats some serious modding, original ! :)

Not really to my taste cuz I dun fancy integrating machines into humanoid figure, but definitely impressive :D
