    TINY Update 4-21-05

Tonight i made a bit of progree on the PSU, as can be seen. I wont go into to much detail, as its simple stuff.
I finished the air holes that i put. I plan on making some more on the sides...

    Any Questions?
    Comments?
I can post a nice guide on how to make a Mesh Fan Grill or 80mm fans if anyone wants one...

    A Few Pics

I havent had time recently for any modding because of the end of school, finishing everythign up, and exams eventually...
So heres what i did get done.
I mounted the Power strip for all the extra devices.

Then was fooling around with some molexes(i???) and made a right angel molex.
Unfortunatley it was the wrong way around... So i cant use it.
Then i went and got some stuff from radio shack.
    [IMG][IMG]
I am not sure how i am going to use this stuff, but i will. I will use some of them for the LEDs that will be in the CD drive, and mabye a few others.
Which connector should i use? the red/black ones or the Metal ones? im not sure if i want to hide these, or show case them ... feedback would be nice.

I would use the red and black ones since they will not rub against and short anything but that's just my opinion, keep up the work and keep your chin up. I know its frustrating when hardly anyone responds especially after you post 2-3 updates with pics (believe me as the same has happened to me several times), what's most important is that your final result makes you happy.

I am planning on doing the same thing with a similar router. It will be nice to see the outcome of this.

Wow, I had the exact same idea (of putting a switch into a computing device), but in my case it was my Xbox, since I'd already put a USB hub in. Unfortunately, there's no way the switch is gonna fit, so I started working on a clear acrylic box. Then forgot about it.

    I'll finish it someday :)

Nice mod anyway. What kind of paint did you try to use? Also for your question with grounding, I wouldn't advise it. The thing with the PSU's ground wire is that it is designed to conduct static AWAY from the case, not through it. I would recommend just making sure the other end of your plug is properly grounded. You don't want your case to go live as soon as something shorts out, that's for sure!

    Sterk out.
