    Hi Guys,

As some of you know, at the time of posting this I´m also working on the tutorial project: nº2, it is however because of that project that this one came around. One of the readers in one of the forums really liked it and she decided she wanted something similar, using the same brand and model basic case, but with a "normal" window, and matt pastel green and white with a little detailing on the opposite side.

So for the last four days I´ve been doing it, it´s now been given to her, the client and she seemed over the moon happy with it, so that makes me happy : )

I won´t go in to much detail because really, there´s not much detail, it´s a minimalistic mod with simple every day hardware, somehow however, I had a lot of fun doing it, I found it quite relaxing to be honest.

So here goes, 18 photos from start to finish (most of the actual finished case but hey).

The flower detailing was done with a fine brush, I´d like to thank my sister for helping me with that.

Took me quite a while to find the right kind of matt clear lacquer so it wouldn´t shine whatsoever or reflect anything which is what she wanted, turns out that´s quite hard to find in acril based paints but did eventually find it, and I love the stuff!

Anyhow, the whole thing took just about 8 hours in 4 days (a couple of hours a day) from start to finish.

    Thanks for reading/watching! : )

    Color combo is great :)

Only thing I don't like are the straight lines for the side panels since you have used those airbrushed flowers/plants... waves or curls would fit the theme much better.

Add some white sleeving inside and you have a very nice loooking case :)

I disagree with that - I quite like the contrast of the plants with the straight lines. I don't particularly like the light ring round the power switch but I suspect it looks a lot better when lit up. (ignore me if it's aluminium or something similarly shiny, and just looks weird on my screen)

    Mod on!

Thanks for the comments guys! : )

Oh I completely agree, I would´ve loved to do sleeving on it, but it was on a budget and time limit, so some things are left out, like that for example.

As with Fred, the idea of the straight lines was for contrast, but waves would´ve looked nice too, I just preffered the straight ones (and again much easier to do on time limit).

Your screen is fine Fed, it is a plexy ring that lights up in blue, weirdly, it works, even though theres no other blue in the case. It´s part of the stock case, given more time and resources, would´ve changed it for a green led or change the whole switch all togueter, but then again I may not have and just stuck with green led since it´s a low budget case.

About the graphics, they weren´t airbrushed, I was going to, but I figured I´d try a thin brush for a bit of 3d-ness if that makes sense? Figured if I didn´t like it I could always airbrush it. Ended up loving it : )

True thing, but the client put forward all the hardware from her current pc, so not my choice really, thanks!
