    Update

Image of the box (my preferred one at this moment) removed of the site. The emotion was as much, that I forgot myself to take off photo with it of origin...

Cut in the top for the radiator 240 more the Aquatube, I did not look the perfection in the cut because in the way that I go to place them it the cut won't be seen...

Here you can already see the cuts in the dividing plate , one more time had been more or less in rude, since they will go to be covered...

Cuts destined to the bomb, passes-paineis, cables...

This cut is for the "switch box" fans and lights...

    Panoramic of the box (front)

    Some acrylic parts ready...

This partition wall , already with cuts for the bomb and some handles.

Here the same, but already with the cut for the radiator

Smallest it is for passes panels and for more cables (already a little of my grid for rad and aquatube is seen)...

Here one sees that the acrylic for passes panels is constituted by two parts to facilitate the assembly)

In detail my grid for rad and aquatube.

    small post

Well, small post with some electric components...
Plate controller of the bomb and deliverer of energy for fans and lights, forgive me but I did not obtain to focus...

Box with switchs (to that it goes to be in that one cut in the part of low of the box, for not seeing switchs) and the visible part of the controller of the bomb and distribution of energy...

The 4 mosqueteer, all black color and without light (I only go to have white light in box and very discrete )....

And a group photo, before the game and already with tip-of-it launches (psu) duly equipped...

Well, and to follow I think a post with more "juice"...

feel free to post in discussion thread

    Cheers

    Update

We go then to proceed to the assembly of the 240 radiator, 2 fans and aquatube. Here we have the radiator, fans and acrylic grid.

Detail of fans and cut for aquatube

To point out that I made the round cuts with dremel, rasp, sandpaper and my trick for round holes when I do not have a hole saw to the measure: use a rigid mold to guide dremel (in the case of fans of 120 use a grid of the simple ones as cut guide)...

Here, already the mounted radiator and fans

As you can see, it is a tight fit for the aquatube

    Already mounted

    Perspective

believe that the very little imperfections that you may notice in the photos, seen in eye naked are invisible...

    In detail...

    It´s gonna be tight...

Already connected the aquatube to the radiator

And I adored the general aspect of the thing:

    stay tuned...

    Part 2

    And now, part 2…

    Acrylic:

    Tweens apart

    Ready to become exactly equal:

And here can see one technique to make perfect circles (leaves always a puncture in the center of the circle):

And the final objectiv (do not mind the dirtiness):

    Here more clean..

And already with the screw in the central puncture, that is only for aesthetic ends (to cover the puncture), since the acrylic is glue to the frame of fan and the screw is cut by the head and glued to the acrylic:

What about the clearance between rad and mobo-tray?
    Will it still fit?

I had problems, when i put a 120mm-fan on top of my V1000.

Well you're right, the clearance is about 2 mm, and i lose 2 pci slots that get covered by the rad+fans, but i don't need those pci slots so for me, it's not a problem...

Thanks, and you're on to something "...stick it on with something tho". :D

The radiator mounting looks great, are you planning on polishing the side of the acyrlic though? It looks a little rough in that last photo

You're right, the side of the acrylic is completly rough and i'm sure going to polish it, but that's for the end of the project...

Very nice and clean mod, looks very much alike what I would've done myself as I have the same case. But, erm, why would you go and buy Intel?

thats a great looking mod so far.

one question, are you planning on polishing or smothing out the sides of your acrylic rad, and res mounting panel? I might look a little more in line with the rest of your case.

    Up

Small update, nothing special, just mounting a 120 radiator in the front, using the original fan mounting...

In some photographs you can see other things already mounted, but ignore them at this moment, cause they all are going to be explained to the detail...
