    A little update

Last week the job remained as...

I started thinking the best way to mount the leds...

    It came to this:

11 5mm white leds and only two wires...

Then, made 4 holes in each fan frame,

    in the white acrylic also,

I had to put some black sticky paper, because the light could be seen through the black acrylic,

    Around the fans,

The wires are going to be hide in here, power for the fans, rpm cables and power to the leds,

Here with some scrap tape to help put the black sticky paper to finishing the job,

    With the black sticky paper,

How the wires are going to be connected,

    And the money shots:

Heck yeah, that top panel is awsome.
Youve made me want to paint the V1k im workign on atm as i was doubting paint work on it.
The white to black contrast's really well.
    And great use of space.

I agree with jokkos and huren, that top looks awesome.
The inside looks great too because it's "clean".

Shame about the pics though. :wallbash:

    Thanks to all

@bAdI : i know the pics aren't very good, but i think they could be worst...

At least, they show the details... But i swear, in the end i'll ask a friend (professional photographer) to take really good photos...

    Details...

The updates that will follow are, mainly, mounting up the things i've been doing, as some detail work that seems to take ages to do, but they are needed.

After this update, it will be almost finished one more stage of the project.

Then, it'll be more detail work to do, but it can be done with the pc mounted and running.

There will be a few more surprises, that i think will be pleasing....

    But now, this update...

That acrylic plate was redone, 'cause now i'll have less cables through it, just the power to hd and sata cables.
There is also a new acrylic plate to hide the pump power pcb, when viewing from the front.

As you can see, the cables and the pump pcb aren't visible.

Of course, the power cable to the hd's will be properly taken care of...

The aquadrive dual, i still need the second hd for raid 0, as well some black 90 degrees sata cables...

Sorry for the splitted post, but it seems i was trying to put to many images in one reply....

    Here it goes the rest:

The bolts are going to be replaced by the ones that i use in almost all the project (black hex bolts)...

This acrylics where lacking some sandpaper and polish...

sandpaper 80, sandpaper 400, sandpaper 1200 and finnaly some fine polish.

Here they are, after the treatment...

In this photo, you can see better the holes to pass cables (atx power, fans rpms, water tube for cpu and some black led holders). The two bigger holes that are interconnected are going to be finished with rubber grommets, in a way that they will look like two seperate holes...

    In place.

Detail of how i passed the tube from the aquadrive dual to the bottom part of the case...

How i purge the water loop...

The next photos show details of the water loop...

Pump -> Aquadrive, the pump in the top made my flow increase a little, maybe because Newton's Law?

    Cpu.

    Gpu and rear rad.

    Gpu -> Aquatube -> Pump

From this moment, leak test, with pc off.

Expect one more little update today...

I would like to excuse for my poor english, i was quite good a few years ago (i was asked one time if i lived in England or the States, by an English man i knew, because, HE said i speaked so well, he could not tell i was Portuguese), but i guess the lack of practice made me forgot, sometimes i can't even remember the words i need...

So, hope you all understand what i mean...

Thanks you all for your patience...

    DVD and Card reader

So, this is the little update i spoke of.

It's simply the mount of the painted dvd...

    In his place...

You can see the aquadrive bolts changed...

This one came with the lian-li case (intended for floppy drive, that i'll not use, just needed when installing windows for the sata drivers), i'm going to use it to mount my card reader, going to loose one bay, but i need it...

    All painted, also...

I'm going to have some work in here, 'cause it's a lian-li special cover, a little smaller than my card reader faceplate...

So i'll have to trim it down a bit, so it can seat flush with the cover...

I stopped here, i was a little tired and didn't want to rush things...

    Greetings.

Very good looking.. Good job :thumb:
Only think i dislike are all the elbows in your waterloop, even thougt they keep the hoses in place.

    Eh, Eh, thanks...
The plexi is just some opaque black plexi, but polished and clean, it reflects very well, almost like mirror efect... I bought it at a local plexi shop, in Portugal.

    Thanks...
I think elbows are just a personal taste, but it seems that most of the people seem to dislike them. Personally, i love them, i don't like seeing the hoses all around...

I did test the flow with and without the elbows, and they don't seem to have much influence...

    Up...

Aquabay M1 from Thermaltake, a cheap but ugly solution...

    The face lift...

    A quick look see...

It may seems a little out of line, but it's only a question of perspective, when viewed from the front it's perfect...

    In his place...

The aquadrive faceplates are also going to be replaced for acrylic, also there going to be some vinyl decals to finish the AquaBay aspect....

    Some stuff i was needing:

Sata cables, already sleeved and with 90º connectors
    [IMG]

The only black ram freezers i was able to find, the orange revoltec letters are going to disappeer...

My second hdd to complete my cheap Raid0
    [IMG]

Another dvd writer, the other has dyed, this one is also going to be white painted...

Cheap dual-core, it runs with no problem at 3,2 Ghz at 34º iddle, 40º full
    [IMG]

Just two silent fans (real silent, if i might say so)...

My pc as it is right now...

    Up Continued

The dvd faceplate is going to be replaced by a piece of acrylic, for the looks...

The hdd power cables are going to be sleeved...

The white stickers are the ram specifications, the revoltec lettring is going to be replaced by a vinyl...

This one is not finished yet, the bigger hole shows the tube that makes the connection between the two aquadrive blocks, the three little ones that point diagonally up are for aesthetical reasons only and the bottom little one is for a button.
There will be also some vinyls here to finish the looks...

Still many detail work to do...

    Greetings to all of you....
