no kidding!! this thing is going to look mean!
Thanks guys! My bro should be home this Saturday, so shots will come soon. I just wish there was a way to anti-static the entire case besides dunking it in a bucket of water....every time I try to rub off the fingerprints it just scratches the plastic more, and attracts dust...lol
Why does this have no stars? Is our community slacking off?
Thanks!....eh, who needs stars, I'm happy with my work, and that's all that matters
I like it too!
Interesting front panel and different and sexy fan grill, well done.
You don't care about stars but I'm going to give you some anyway.
@oldnewby: Thanks! Now that this is done I just wish I had the money to do another. There is definitely something coming in the future though.....possibly involving mini-itx, HDMI, and super quiet cooling (hint: HTPC)
nice work. i like the fan grill the most.
about wiping the dust off... have u try before soak newspaper? works on my window, but never try before in computer arcylic.
maybe worth to try?
Thx for the idea, ill have to test it on some scrap first...never thought of that
The final shots are beautiful, very nice end result. The only thing that annoys me is that the CCFL inverter is blue, quite an eye-sore IMO, paint it black and you have a winner.
Did someone say Million-Dollar-PC nomination, well I did, you get one from me lol.
Excellent work.Very nice shapes.I like it very much.Congratulations.

Thanks man!! I had no idea it was worthy...hell, now that I think of it, I could try for mod of the month.... that seems more likely, although there is some pretty epic competition there as well.
Oh, and I kinda put the ccfl and inverter in at the last minute, so I didn't think to paint it, but I will when I get the time.
@Spyrious: thanks as well
Btw, I just ordered a new vid card (silent Sapphire HD 4670 w/heatpipes) and 2 gigs more ram (for a total of 4gigs). I plan to try and silence the case, because as it is right now it's pretty loud, and I want to do some audio recording. Eventually I hope to order some sound proofing foam and some Noctua fans, as well as a passive CPU heatsink.
But replace that CPU cooler with one that looks better, and performs in the same direction
Congrats, that is once fine mod.
Great case mod, superb!
Excellent work - like the powdercoating and laser cutting. My only suggestion is to paint the USB plate black.
When I get some free time, I'll paint the usb plate and the inverter, as well as keep the log updated with pics of the soundproofing
