Now i have a real place to work. Every wednesday my brother is going to work on our works race car, and i am going to go work with him and work on my computer instead. Now i have access to real power tools and air tools. 30, 000 square feet of fun!!! www.iactech.com
Maybe i can ask our bodywork guy to give me a hand with my side panels :O :D

I have a question for you modders now. Seems that bullseyesupport.net is not doing so well so i have decided that my build must be changed, so now i can change colours, and my cut out logo's. Any idea's about colours and maybe a possible logo to cut out as a fan grill sort of thing? I plan to use some type of mesh behind the cuts in the panels btw. Help would be appreciated.

could imagine a cream white for the inside and a nice metalic blue or a real dark metalic green for the outside would look good...
logo? what about your nick in the sidepanel and some kind of tribal for the fan grill?! or...be creativ

sorry for bad english... i`m from germany:naughty:

I like the way you think, that is a good idea. No problems with your english it's good :)
Maybe a cream inside with blue and green interior lighting, and either black, dark metallic blue, or some dark metallic green with a cool tribal inspired M for my cut out since my initials are M M I actually have a really good idea now. I'll make it on photoshop then post it up to see how it looks. Thanks for the idea's, hopefully i can get some more input from others though. Also going to have to re-name the project once i finalize my new idea's.

I actually like your window but i don't have access to acrylic so im going to use some kind of mesh behind my cut outs, but i like how you built the lip, i might to the opposite for my front blowhole, might make it so it rounds in instead of how you did it. I like how you case is turning out but this is my idea:

Found out how im going to cut my name into the case...

The red represents the case, the black is whats going to be part of the case also, the white will be cut out and i will put a mesh with a blue or green light behind it so you see Mansueto glowing
    [IMG]

Same thing applies to this side vent i will cut and even the top of the case

for me,mixing green and blue interior lighting will make it look like an fish tank... but every one to his taste :)
    (don`t ask why i`m so shure:duh:)

depends on where you living, take a look at your local homedepot ( or w/e its called in your area^^) or try google or just visit ebay...over here in germany there are a few good and almost cheap ebay-sellers

always a good idea, i especially love the honeycomb from mnpctech

    sounds good!

will be a lot of dremeling and filing, but now you`r getting creativ ;) :D :thumb:

thx  i`ll do my very best
( would you guys give me a hint if something special is wrong? i`ll try to improve)

    Sobek

edit... a new name... M&M would remind me to ( on? ) candys, so why not to call it -M²!- ?
    [OT] my initials are R R ..... ^^ [/OT]

Well here in Canada its home depot, but i work at a mechanic shop so i can probably get my hands on it. I don't buy online so im going to have to try and get a lot of stuff from my work, only problem is the mesh we have at work is for cars so lots of open spaces. Still haven't decided acrylic or grill.

Looks good so far; I look forward to seeing it finished. That cutout will be very impressive when it's done, and it sounds like you'll probably end up with an excellent paint job as well.

However, don't be discouraged by your camera. There's a lot more to cameras than megapixels, especially when you're just resizing your pictures to 800x600 for the internet. You could improve your pictures dramatically by using a tripod, and by using macro mode (usually denoted by a flower icon) for those close shots.

I actually learned how to use the macro feature, and i never really used my camera until now. I am learning. As for my cut-outs, no luck. The Old english text was too much for my dremel and about 15 minutes in a screwed up. I ended up cutting a 120 mm hole and just going to use mesh for now. In the future i will get some alu. and make a new side panel, and have it laser cut. I tried but cutting small precision with a dremel isn't exactly easy. I learned the hard way.
