Very nice!! I love the use of the Lazy Susan to spin the panels around. I have to try it next time. Also, the panel color scheme looks great. Can't wait to see how the paneling will fit on the panel.

    Keep up the great work.

    Test layout

I haven't glued anything down yet. Just test fitting everything. I am having trouble with the spacing. Everytime I touch one, it moves another piece. But, this is what it should look like. :

Thanks everyone :thumb:for the feedback on the case mod so far... As we speak, I am glueing the first side panel down. Just took a break to let it dry. I went out and bought some tile spacers to help me keep everything aligned. Everytime I moved one piece another piece moved. It is working out pretty well.

Will work on getting those pics up soon! Okay, back to work for me! :dremel:

I have bags full of the white Ts and Crosses for tile laying. I never would have thought to use them here!

+rep for a new idea and a verra nice mod.

Hey John, glad you like the mod so far. I am working on the worklog for the side panels. I had to stand most of the spacers up to get the right spacing. The pictures look a bit strange with all the x's that the spacers make. But, after all was said and done, the spacing worked out. Mommy duty has kept me busy, but I am working on things now that the kids are sleeping :D

check back soon for the picture update. oh.. one happy note, some pieces blocked some holes so I got to use my dremel :dremel: fun stuff!

I am going to break the next set of post into several parts so that I can post it faster.

    Okay, here we go...

Went to Lowe's and picked up a bag of tile spacers. Had to find the right size. When I bought these, I was hoping that they would work. I thought about putting a rock on each pieces so it wouldn't move, but the tile spacers are a lot cleaner. :D

I put all the pieces down and in the right order. Then I added the spacers so that each piece would have an equal amount of distance between them.

So, after I placed all the pieces and spacers down the way I wanted it. I outlined each piece. Even with the spaces, some would fall out or down and it would move. By outlining the pieces, I could just glue each piece into place and didn't need to keep the spacers in place all the time. I just checked the spacing every once in a while.
