This may sound really pathetic but I really like the way that you have bound all the power cables coming down, bunching them together looks really cool, and of course the blanking plates hide the clutter (that would be the point then ) it wouldn't look so neat if the cables had just been routed in the standard manner.
Today was busy working on the fancontroller. Didn't like to put it in original way ,so did put it in a bezel. Picture's are bad , next time better ones . Now let's wait till the rest of the Tygon tube's come tommorow. Then i can continue again. Then only thing left to finish it is the Raptor.
Did some more work on the fancontroller. Lot's of people asking about the red led's , so this should be better .
To give the front all the same look also did stealth the dvdrom in a bezel. Now just needs a little more work and then i can build it in.
The LEDs you replaced seem to be brighter than the others, thought it may just be the photos. Awesome work with the stealthing dude.
Uh yeah, nice reading skills there bucko. If you'd actually read what I said, you would've realised that I said the LEDs that he REPLACED, as in the ones on the fan controllers which his second last update was about. Gw, Korad.
This morning received the last Tygon i needed ,and some Engine-Ice Performance coolant. Link Want to see how it cools , Thnx OC-shop Now i can start finishing up a lot of things , and maybe i wil put a normalharddisk in till i have the raptor , so i can testrun it.
I don't think that the coolant (or any industry coolant) will work better than normal de-ionized water. As far as I know, adding something to water always reduces, more or less, its "thermal abilities" (sorry for the bad english). Maybe this coolant contains something to protect the pump and/or something that adds a nice uv-effect, but there should be no performance gains. Apart from this, I like the work you've done to the zalman rheobus, nice work!
Doesn't have an uv effect , that was something i added myself , we will see what it does , just wanted to try it out
distilled water with a little bit of "water wetter" is the absolute best coolant you can use as far as absolute cooling goes. this stuff may have different, more specialized properties like lubrication pr the pump or just looking cool.
Ok, I may have misunderstood your post, but that doesn't mean you have to go on at me like that. Your spelling isn't that great either and English is my 2nd language. Either way, I think it's normal that the new LEDs are brighter than the original ones, because they obviously didn't come from the same factory. And Snakez, great work man! I love the blue glow through the grill.
Snakez you are slipping, on to page 2?!?! Btw can I add a recommendation for your posts? Not so many pictures of what is effectively the same thing, 2 or 3 will suffice not 6 or 7 of what is effectively the same thing Back with an update soon i hope
Where did you get the tygon tubing and can you tell me what tubing you're using (brand name,uv not?) Also do you use anything other than water and Engine-Ice Performance coolant in?
I did get the Tygon Tubing and Engine-Ice-Performance coolant from the www.oc-shop.nl Is not uv reactive , but did put some blue uv additive in it. Mercury almost ready for Cebit now , when it is i will post some pics of endresult for now.
