Man, that is a tight fit. You sure have everything shoehorned in there, yet it's clean. Good job! The 38mm x 120mm fan on the rad's a nice touch. Not much room for error, but everything looks great.

@Claas M - The thing to consider is the hose length running to and from that res is relatively short, and actually gets quite strong and firm at those lengths. And considering those hoses are mounted firmly to each item they are run to and from also creates a sense of structural integrity. That res isn't going anywhere. Had he made those hoses even 6 inches longer than they are, the res would be drooping like a just out of high school college kid at an all-weekend kegger.

Just in time for Christmas. A Homemade Spring-Powered Foam Blaster that shoots 110 to 140 feet.

Kind of distracted at the moment. Will get back to this project in a few weeks. Weird time to take a break considering 99% of the work is done.

That's like what we had in college, only not quite as refined. Yours probably doesn't explode, or nearly get you kicked out of college either...

Well I already graduated, so potential problem solved.

(and no it doesn't explode) But it does shoot homemade Nerf darts 110 to 140 feet.

I love it! Reminds me of when I modded a suction cup dart gun to shoot pencils. I was a dangerous little brat. Ever get into potato cannons?

No, because unlike Nerf guns I can't shoot potato cannons at the 12-year-old kids in the neighborhood, or my friends whom I attend Nerf Wars with.

    You cant?:)
We had a group here that was launching at each other over the lake. They shut down when one was arrested and was on the news as a "pipe bomber".:hehe: They made it sound like Oklahoma City all over.
-BUT I WAS NOT ASSOCIATING WITH THEM IN ANY WAY. Honest!:worried:

Interesting, again one hobby that I've definitely never heard before! I myself am more into coilguns... I guess the idea behind it as hobby is pretty much the same as the idea that drove you into building your own.. what's that again.. Nerf gun? I started from the reloading mechanism 'cause I found engineering one interesting.

Spent half an hour wondering through the forums :) I liked the shotgun-type reloading you seemed to have made earlier.

    Totally off-topic, but interesting.
