Hello all! This is my first real post and after lurking heavily around this site for some time now, this is my first mod as well.

The project is a PC for my parents to use for surfing the web, emails, playing DVD's and CD's and so on. The PC specs are quite modest as the use is very light so this is a description of the hardware:

    1. MOBO : Mini-itx EPIA CN-13000
    2. RAM : 1GB
    3. HDD : 60 GB, 2.5"
    4. Optical Drive : Slimline slot load RW DVD

    I am going to build a custom case for this PC with an overall dimensions of 202mm x 202mm x 80mm (W x D x H).

A shot of the parts used (most of them):

This picture shows how the mobo will sit with all components:

And this picture shows where the HDD will be mounted:

The material for I chose for building the enclosure is 6mm MDF. I think it is easy to work with plus I don't have any tools to work with anything else.

I shall have some more pictures soon showing the mounting of the HDD and DVD drive and how they all will fit in the enclosure.

Meantime any comments and suggestions are welcome.

Thanks, the power brick is 110 Watts, just enough for the hardware I have.

    Project: Mini-PC Blue - Minor update March 28, 07

A minor update on the PC case, progress has been slow.

This is how I fixed the HDD:
