I just realized you have to pull all the molex plugs for paint. That's going to suck!

 

TOOLS! People can never have too many tools.
That's why we have guides with links to more tools.
PSU tools, Molex tools, SATA tools, I'm gonna need a bigger house. 3000 sq ft. just ain't enuf.
Capitalism at it's best!

Hey man, just want to say great project you got going here! I've been checking it out intermittently on numerous forums and its coming along awesomely. Had a question tho, and forgive me if you've explained it on a previous page somewhere, but what if you turned your PSU around so that the hoses come out the back? It seems that they enter all the other modules through the back, and it would cut down on the hose length considerably, and tidy it up a bit at the same time. ;-)

 

Cheaps - no worries i wont be putting all the molexes through before paint

John - lol tools are good i still have about another £1000 worth of tools on my wishlist :thumb

And as for turning it round i personally would rather look at tubing (i love watercooling ) than the back of my psu so that is kind of where the logic comes from

Woot another update

I started by drilling the last holes for the tamer


and a test fit


And i like it like this soooo i will be using it


Secured


I then cut out a rectangle of green and tried it out



I like it


I then did a bit more cabling
The single sata power cable for the dvd drive


and the dual for hdds


and thats it for today

all thats left to do before paint is the cutout for the res as i can do the cabling while its being painted

Oh yes! That was the look I was trying to explain. Well done.

 

i think it would look great (ok, even better) if that tamer extended all the way to the other side. That way you'd have space for more cables on the other side, and a logo aswell

hehe i was laughing to day at this when i thought of how much work you've been doing on this and my lass said i spent 6 months on my last one and i showed her yours and said "mines nothing" compared to this lol ...

Mate this again is coming on real well and you must be proud as punch. A Master peace in the making and i feel privileged to get to see it developing along.

 

This mod is soooo nice! You got some incredible skills!

That holder for the hoses turned out really well! Matches the well arranged setup of the boxes much better than just a pile of hoses!
Looking farward to the next updates!
