Pookey mate...that looks the dogs! :thumb:

I never realised how well a UV LED worked inside the lucite tops, might have to give it a go for my next mod :)

BTW, received the parcel this morning, cheers :)

They're not UV LEDs.. they're pink. They WERE.. the weirdest thing has happened.. they've changed colour... they're now more of a purple... No idea why.. they're not overvolting, cos there's a 300Ohm resistor in line for each one, so I have no idea. I've had this with purple and pink LEDs before however... they lose they're pinkness. If they change anymore, I'll replace them and increase the resistor.

Leeum: CHeck your post this morning.

Shadowed: How the hell you getting a 15 panel into your case????

    Cheers guys.

Nice and clean mate. I personally think that a PS1 screen would look v sweet in this as the splash of motion on the front would serve as a great counterpoint to the vast monolithness of the case, whilst still maintaining that theme (?)

MrWillyWonka did this really well in his stacker mod - can't remember what its called though DOH!

Yeah... not a bad idea. Not sure what to replace them with yet tho. The usual off the shelf ones are a bit naff... may design my own if I can. Any ideas?

I'm sure MDK will do you some - Think the design has to be rounded or something since he hasn't got a laser cutter. ;)

Well, they're not purple anymore...In fact, they are officially a non-colour, since all of our LEDs have mysteriously decided to stop working. :jawdrop:

Please don't shout at me...I swear it isn't anything I've done!!! :waah:

Nope... my terrible maths when calculating the required volt drop/current limiting resisitors... Oh well.... only a couple of quids worth of LEDs... Lesson learned... a 3.4V 30mA LED needs a 330Ohm resistor, NOT a 270 one... Ooops! :hehe:

I'm glad jalousy itself doesn't kill people, or you would have been killed ;).
Just kidding, like this combo of colors very much, put my hands together  for this one...

I love the clean appearance of this mod. The watercooling looks fabulous - the choice of colours was an excellent one :)

I must admit, I had misgivings at first...Then again, I was experiencing visions of hi-tech Barbie playsets...But those LEDs are not really pink-pink, are they? They're sort of a purplish-pink which goes well with the violet...er...thingy in the pipes.

Anyhow...still think we should get light-up molex connecters for the drives... :naughty:

I don't think it's overkill at all! Might even balance out the colour scheme a wee bit...ICHIBAN! :thumb:

simply amazing, i think that the next thing you should do to it, should be put another 7800 in there :p then that would be the best rig that you can get lol

    Way ahead of you... LOL

As soon as I can get hold of a SLI waterblock in the UK for a reasonable price, and the price of the XFX 7800 comes down a bit once the 512 version is available in larger numbers... a second one goes in there. That's the beauty of buying a SLI motherboard, even if you're only buying one GPU.

    Thanks for the comments guys.

Interesting. There is a NV78 on the DD website... was just waiting to see if Paul was gonna stock them. I can't possibly convince my other half that buying another 7800 so close to Xmas is necessary anyway... so it will be a new year job this.
