    Update 25 – Feets and psu! @ Thursday the 24th May 2007.

    Intro.
Finally I have a new update ready!.
Accidentally I deleted all the pics :(, So no work in process, only final shots – or actually i have a little more work to do on the feets :)
I do really like the feets! But damn NLM seems “squared” without the outside tubing.

    The funny part

    Here’s the atx connector :)

    4-pin connector for the cpu.

And at last, this is how the molex connectors does look.

The orange cablesleeving goes very well with the black!

But lets take a look at the case:

    And with som light:

The last picture, shows how all the plexi edges will look when I add leds on the rest of the case.

What do you think? Comments are welcome!

wich colour have the leds in the foot ? on the pix it looks kinda yellowish. already thought of adding maybe a red or a orange led ? the orange of the unlighted plex looks much cooler then the lighted one.

I think the plexi edges need more sanding but overall it looks great.

    ComputerKing @ thank you :)

derbaum @ You're right! It's white leds, but there's only 1mm plexi on each side of the lead. Because of that It does seems a little yellow (irl it's NOT that visible, my camera like sucking the light because of the slow closer)

Bas_van_der_werff @ thank you, if it wasn't because of the screws that's placed just beside the feets, I would properly have done them a little longer, so they'll go the edge of the case. Right know I'm thinking, trying to figure out a way doing it.

Koradhil @ Thank you, I know about the edges, I don't think it's that visible, but you're right. Only problem doing that is that the plexi become smaller than the alu, and then it'll look weird, hope you understand.

If you made the longer feet would they completely hide the screws? if that's the case you just have to drill a hole in the top of the (longer) feet so the screw diseapears into the feet, hope i made myself clear? if i didn't PM me and ill send you a small sketch of what i mean:)

widmod @ thank you dude :)

Bas_van_der_werff @ I get it, I've thought about that my self, but the only problem would be that I then had to screw the bottom on, before mounting the feets and leds, It won't be easy, but defiantly a try worth, I'll might try that later :) Thank you for the input!

    or

What would look best, with or with out the mesh? I don’t wan’t to drill holes for the mesh if you don’t like it. So let me hear what you think :)
I’ll bring you an update tomorrow or Thursday, and this time with work in process.

Edit: Remember that there’ll be orange light under the case (because of the fans). Also I need to paint the new part of the feets.

    Cya.!

I say without the mesh, because it makes it look too bulky and it doesn't match the square box theme of the rest of the case.

Agreed, without mesh. It looks like it's floating instead of grounded on a huge base.

Hmm, Koradhil and identikit, you're the first who's saying that. I've asked on a Danish forum, and there was no doubt that the mesh would look best. I'll let you give me your opinion, and then figure out what I'll do tomorrow ;)

    Thank you.

bas_van_der_werff, I'm not sure what you mean :D (I'm not THAT good at english ^^) But yeah, I hope that the light from the fans will shine out in the small holes in the mesh.

That is what i mean, i think that would look very good :D

Can you make a picture with the mesh in place and the led fan's on in the dark? so we can see how it looks like?
