One of the reasons that today I post my project in the bit-tech because it is a pleasure to be part of the same community of modder that accomplishes a beautiful that I always accompany

Definatly black imho. When I at the block with the black screws, I see somthing that looks professionaly done. When i look at the other, it still looks good, but the silver screws just don't give it that "look" if that makes any sence.

I prefer silver because they would stand out through the orange window.
But if you got a transparent window instead of the orange one, you'd make people stare at your waterblocks with the orange plexi and details inside them, and THEN I'd choose black screws...

    Just my 2 cents...

    nice work on the case!

i like the silver a tiny bit more than the black and they would be a little visible through the window. alot of black on the case with some shine here and there, no 1 fit'sthis theme well i think. i would like to see more shiny bits in the case. looking forward to seeing a glow through all the mesh at the base!

Ok, I see that most people like the black screws. Thank you all for input. I'll go for black ;) Got something like 5hours for modding today.

Youre looking good there friend. It really wont make a diff which one you go with as long as it puts a smile on you face. I liked the silver to go with the others but back goes with the connectors so its kind of 6 of one 1/2 dozen of the other!

    Update 29 – Light part 1 – The front @ Monday the 2nd Juli 2007.

    Intro
Finally I got a new update for you. I’ve actually done a huge amount of work (Yep! Soon I’ll be able to finish it, but still need the screen!), but I just want to teaser you a little :hehe:, and give the updates some time. The last things, are always the hardest to get rid off, because you’ve been extended them hehe, and damn I had a lot of troubles while trying to fix the light in the front! But finally I was happy with the result.

I’m still thinking of how to make the light under the case look better, take a look in the end of this update.
    Lets have some light:

    Den sjove del

Lined up – Here’s every thing I need, except of the soldering iron.

I’ll be able to place leds all over the plate, except for here.

The LCD screen is the wrong place, and I’ll not be able to place leds here.

But let’s start soldereing, not much to show – bet you all know how-to :)

That’s it. NO pictures in completely darkness, you have to wait for them to the case is finished, and I take the final pictures :)

And last a picture of the light under the case. I don’t really think it fit the case with those light-spots under the case. (I know they aren’t completely straight, just need to adjust the leds).
But I hoped you could help me coming up with a good idea, and how I could spread out the light a little more.

Thanks to all who follows my mod, thank you.

You could try putting a "diffused" strip of plexi over the leds under the case and try to even out the light more.

This is looking killer man. Making me insainly jealous :p

Wishing I can figure out what i want to do with mine. (tis a P180 so very limited on what I can/want to do)

Actually, i think the light spots are pretty bitchin'. What I think would make them blend better (not sure why, and hate to suggest removing hard work) would to make the bottom of the case the same width as the rest, and chop off the "wings", so the spots project to the sides of the case onto the desk.

    P.S.
Think I could use those spots come my mod?

Dang!! I think it looks great so far. But yes, smoked plexi should work. Maybe you have an off-cut laying around which you can "smoke" and then it a try.

This has really turned out fantastic! Really awesome work.

I like the dots in the base. But if you had something else in mind it may always bug you. If so, try Soulmage's idea. If you rough up one side, try it with the rough side up and then the rough side down. If it's not enough, rough up both sides.

Anyway, absolutely first class work. Great design and excellent execution. :thumb:
