This one turns out nicely. Awesome work. Beat me if I just missed it, but what kind of cooling will be in there?

I like the backplate, very well done! You've also done an amazing job with that acrylic; I can't imagine a teacher who would less than amazed at such a well done project.

:) thanks phaeton! i got my hands real dirty working with that aluminium today! :p

aon, I'm just going to use normal cooling as my main project brief (chosen myself) was to design a case that was different, but not too different. It's supposed to be manufacture-able to an extent hehe :)

I think I've spent a good 120 hours on this project!

    wow...just wow... :jawdrop:

the backplate has come out great, I'll also be doing something like that for my upcoming mod (if I don't use the plate from my current case), do you have the dimensions you used somewhere?

I'm going to be bleeding from my eyes removing all the tape later because most of it has been on for more than 3 weeks so it's hardened a bit :( Today alone I was using so much white spirit to get rid of the stupid residue that was stuck on the acrylic!

Yeah, try getting the residue off of sheets that have been sitting outside for 3 months. That's what I dealt with when my first load of polycarbonate came from a scrap yard in the form of 3 window panels that were meant for use on city buses. I recommend using heavy amount of either diswashing soap and water, or just glass cleaner.
Don't use any scrubbing sponges though, if you need to scrub use an old towel.

Yeah don't use towels... Use a cloth that is designed to clean glass...
