    I have an idea you could use. Why don't you drill and tap the fan mounting holes? This would allow you to use long bolts or thumbscrews without nuts instead of ugly fanscrews which might apply potentially damaging pressure to your lovely case.
    If you need long black or white nylon thumbscrews you can get them through mcmaster or I could send you some of my leftover ones.

    well i would arkadur :) surprise for you guys in the next week which will hopefully make you all drool!

    pics coming later today :)

    sluggy, i already glued some screws to the inside of the acrylic which will hold the fans. i think they'll do quite well as the front doesn't need to have screws visible! :) not entirely anyway :p

    oh geqxon, that's just my twinhead laptop which i use for everything while here in boarding school :) it might be made from the same barebones laptop as the one you're talking about..

    specs for those interested aren't anything amazing, but im happy with it :)

    Pentium M 1.8Ghz
    512Mb RAM
    128Mb ATi Mobility Radeon 9700
    60Gb HDD (5400 RPM i think... maybe worse :()

    Pictures! This time with a new provider so no worries about downtime I hope :D

    I took alot of tape off and I got the media rack glued in today! I got my screwes epoxied too but they managed to get knocked off more than once so I'm regluing them tomorrow :/ oh well... anyway pics ahead!

    do you have a net with dimentions for the back plate (metal bit) i would love to install on in my acrylic case.

    Ah, thats possible. "Paradigit" is just a labeller, putting there brand in japanese laptops :p

    Those specs are gorgious! Man, a laptop with a 128mb vid.card is killer! My specs:

    Penitum M 1.7Ghz
    1024Mb RAM
    64Mb ATi Mobility Radeon 9600
    40Gb HDD
