I completed work on my Project:ONE case about a week ago. Its an SGI O2 case, much like mashies but I went way further in the modification process. Check out my worklog here I didnt have time to fabricate a panel for this area so I used some screen door screen and hotglued it inplace. A picture of my hairy arm pointing to the wire cover I made:
Very well done. I do have a question tho, if you painted that case yourself, where did you get the paint?
The paint look`s like plasti cote black metalic & come`s in 500ml cam`s from hobby-craft shop`s over hear in the UK. Nice work on the mod look`s gr8
Thatnks guys. [t0rc], I think I got the paint at kmart or home depot. I know I got the primer at autozone.
personally. it was a good idea. it turned out not too bad. however. the paint job looks nice until you get to the little seams. whats with all that white gunk in there? that needs to go. other than that. awesome job. please get rid of that white junk in all the little crevices. i read the entire project log. very nice work. but all that work and that white residue... tisk tisk. would be spactacular if that crap was gone. good job man =)
What white gunk are you referring too? could you like quote a pic or something? Also, the seams dont look that bad, they camera sort of exxaggerates them. ANd thanks for your... uh..."good(+)".. comments.
