Now thats what i am talking about!
This just keeps gettin better.
Even though I'm not a fan of the shiny, chromed look, I still think this is amazing. When this is finished you're gonna be able sit back with a huge grin on your face, and say "Damn I'm good!"
Keep up the top quality work dude!
shiiiny, youll be up to modsquad status before this is all over... 20 pages and counting...wonder where MS is......
Mods really dont get much cleaner than this!
oh, so shiny! You should start wearing sunglasses Darkened!
Keep up the good work!
ahhh my eyes are rotting, too...much.. CANDY
i love your project, how did you get the drive rails covered in carbon fiber vinyl (?) werent the holes a b* to cut acurately and to apply ?
Thanks for the comments guys, I thought you might like this progress with the case
You are right, that area was a b**** to make, but dont worry about the holes, just go over them and then carve them open with an exacto knife, be ready to replace the blade after that though, it gets quite dull after a while. Btw, that was like the third vinyl that I applied to that area...
I thought that I wasn't into shiny things either, but when you see the part you're working on turning into this shiny beautiful thing in your hands, that's a feeling you won't soon forget...I sound like gollum, lol.
Welcome to the forums, there's always room for finnish people here
when is our next updat due in ???
im getting the munchies for it...
Probably tomorrow or friday, depends on how much I can get done and that depends on how much i have time to work on the mod, still a bit cloudy this question is
I won't hold them back though, as soon as I can get something done, I'll update.
Stay with me...
Amazing contrast of colors and textures
so grand it makes us amateurs want to mod
Nice it's so Bling Bling Gj dark
Btw im going to do my case soon perhaps after cristmas
Nice fit and finish Dark.. I love chrome and/or polished Alu...
That area of the LL V-series case(s) cry out for a cover-plate. Yours is very well done..
Keep up the good-work..
surely your HSF isn't going to be ery good, when all of its air just gets pushed down onto the acrylic..??
or have you got something else in mind ????
I also though this.
Make some holes in the acrylic under the fan
Hey all and thanks for commenting!
No update yet, the next parts are almost ready, but I need more polishing wheels to finish them. I'm thinking monday...
@Mankz_91 and mario_cell
It just seems that close in the pictures, there's actually about 40mm gap there, so I think I'll be ok. At least I hope I'll be ok, cause making holes in the acrylic also means making holes in the divider plate which I'm not that happy to do. Time will tell
Oh, and the fan is going to be installed on the "top" of the heatsink, not between it and the acrylic...
Have a good weekend!
oh yeah now i see the gap.....
hope all goes well
I'm not sure does this go of topic but I throw it anyway.... I'm curious to see your modding corner Darkened, the place where "the magic hapends"
If you could show some pics I would be very happy!
Oh and btw what monitor(s) do you use?
Your slowing down. Keep it up dude.
Duuude!!! I'm gettin withdrawl symtoms, I need more pics, you gave me this addiction to orange, it's all your fault.
Seriously though dude I think everyone's dying out there, we need our shiny 'n' orange medicine!
Pleeease! Update! It's been ages
