    Thanks for the comments guys!

    That would have meant making a custom USB cable + the added clutter inside the case, believe me, there's already enough of that :D

    The case itself will be located under my desk, so that USB cable won't be visible, so it doesn't matter too much.

    @ Mankz

    The answer to your question is simple, IMHO, the Nexus Drive-A-Way is the best way to silence your hard drive. Since the drive is fully inside an enclosure and not just on some shock absorbers, it'll be really quiet and since the unit has also heat dissipation system your drive will also run quite cool. This is just my thinkings, I don't work for Nexus or anything :hehe:

    Keep them comments coming :thumb:

    Ive got a Sunbeam one, it cost about £8, has an 80mm fan attachment, and is cromed!

    But i see your point....! Keep it up.!

    Thanks guys and...

    @Mankz

    I have two of those sunbeam units in my basement, they are fairly nice, but they just didn't silence my drives enough, well I'm a bit high maintenance :hehe:

    Very nice, but Im not a fan of the acrylic on top.

    Have you got acrylic on both sides?

    Other than that, GREAT work! I love the placement of the HD.

    for the usb you can just get a pci slot usb 2.0 thing (so old comps can have more usb ports) and take off the back plate mount and plug it in...thats what i did.
    completely hidden
    and it cost around 1$usd from a bargin bin or somethin
