    My desk is so cluttered :( I think a glass one would force me to keep it clean, I am loving the chair, I think I have seen ones like that but they are more than £200?!

    I think I might mod my desk lol

    @Mother-Gooser

    I don't know about £ amount, but the chair cost 500€ with good discounts :hehe:

    The glass tables were cheap, 75€ each...

    @Mother-Gooser

    I actually thought that I would never pay for such an amount for a chair, but once I got a chance to try out my friends chair (which is the same kind as mine) who has back problems and had to get this kind of chair because of that, I was sold, lol. I don't think that I'll ever go back to "normal" office chairs after this. And when you think of it, this chair has really good "modifying" options compared to those 100€ chairs and has been in use for about an year now for me, daily sitting and several hours at a time and it doesn't look any different than it was the day I bought it. Before this I wore out two chairs in two years, so that's 200€ for those and this has 5 year warranty, so that'll be 100€ per year if you will :D And I think that this'll last even longer than 5 years, so when you think it like that, it's not that steep...just hurts when you have to pay for it :hehe:

    @Mankz_91

    These tables are from Jysk, don't know if that's a known store where you live, but basically like Ikea, but damn lot smaller :D I'm waiting for Ikea store in my city, it should open next year, that's good news.

    Let's see if I can squeeze an update tomorrow before work, I've been re-assembling the front parts (LCD, USB ports etc.). That's the next step and then I can start putting them back in the case.

    See you later...

    WOW!!!!!!

    Just read through the whole thread.

    I love the Orange. It is quite different and is really a strong statement when teamed with the black and aluminium.

    Looking forward now to the next updates.

    Regards
    BenJ

    ditto.

    I love this project. It is my favorite by far. It inspired me to use orange on my case mod. Just one question. Where did you get orange plexi?

    Some progress has been made, update will follow tomorrow.

    @sparkyftw

    I actually have no idea, it's from my fathers old workplace... The brand is Perspex, so that might lead you to the acrylic you are searching. Try google...

    Xmas presents...

    Update time, finally!

    I'm a day late from the promised update, but I guess that it's normal for me :D

    Firstly I thought that I'd show you what I got for Xmas...what else than tools :hehe:

    [IMG]

    Here they are in a family portrait, there's a new battery for my cordless drill, a threading set with some cutting/threading/drilling oil and a Weller soldering 40W soldering station.

    [IMG]

    Man alive that name slayed me :hehe:

    [IMG]

    Should be a pretty decent set (about 110€).

    [IMG]

    There's the soldering station out of the box.

    Also what I did between christmas and new year was that I upgraded my laptops hard drive to 120GB from 60GB. Now it's much more useful for me and also now I have 60GBs of movable storage space in this...

    Pretty nice and doesn't need an external power source :thumb:

    Next up: The official update, more front panel action...
