Performance PCs has some blue LED 40mm fans.
Frozen CPU has some as well, though the only non-black fan is out of stock right now.

 

I'm going to use ACE fans. ACE is a dutch casemodding brand with probably the largest modding assortment in the world. I believe they have 13 different fan colors in 5 different sizes, including 40mm red. Unfortunately the official website ACE-Modding.nl is down.

To give you an idea:

I'm guessing either the radiator. the front panel or the pump is what Darkened is doing in a similar manner.

According to me, ACE systems is broke. You might have to buy those fans quickly before they're all sold out. Just an idea.

 

I've contacted Salland about that because I thought the same thing, they informed me they could still supply the fans.

 

I got the red carbon film today. I had hoped it to look better than this, but since I got it I'll use it anyway. Perhaps I will replace it later if I find something better.

I don't understand why you dont like the red carbon... I think its the bomb tbh! It looks really good. Stick with it

 

Like Stievius said, its a red film with gray dots printed on it. Would have preferred it to be black dots. I actually have a new idea in my head for replacing the carbon film. Not sure if I'm going to use it though.
As for the watercooling, I felt like sharing something with you. Its one of my favorite photos on Bit-Tech. It gives me lots of inspiration for this mod, all from one picture.

For the vinyl, the "normal" cf-vinyl looks ok, but not great and same goes here, it could be better. Though I don't know if you can get real red CF from anywhere. The positive side of it is that it looks apart from anything I've seen.

Anyways, I really like where you are steering this mod, great progress and you just can't go wrong with red and black

I hope you didn't buy anything at ACE systems. If I ever meet him he will have a serious problem because I'm still pissed about not giving me my money back. I paid more then 70 euros and he never gave me my products. I hope he's bankrupt the asshole. Sorry for my bad language but guys like him give webshops a bad name

ya I like the idea of mesh being painted red instead of the red CF film.

 

i hate fake carbon. the idea for the mesh, however, is a very good one.

 

Hey, hey I see my front panel mod there but with the cut out DVD tray at the bottom instead. I like the reservoir there. Nice addition. I'll see if I can get some ideas from u too since I havent finished my project either. Hehehe.
