    To tight to buy a new PC case so its getting a lick of paint and some nice feet ;)

    Didnt take a befor picture (duuuur) so im gonna borrow malcs, hope you dont mind?

    Very Similar to this one of malcs!

    Started with Plasticote metalic purple and silver paint

    Using the flash gives an uneven finish which isnt visible with the naked eye ;)

    With out the flash shows a smooth finish, sham I wasnt able to show the metalic effect as it looks great.

    Nice glow from the LED Fan.


    Will add more Pics tomorrow after ive re-sprayed the front.

    The stock grill on what?

    Duno what im gonna do yet, might leave it and do a smallet TIVO type box.

    looking good - i really like the mottled effect of the painting.

    you need to put a window on the side now so people can see the funky lights inside!

    OK ive decided on a different colour scheim for the front, partly because the crap plasticote paint reacted but I think it looks better.

    Just added the silver, gonna prep the purple and touch up

    Just gotta sand the purple and spray, the laquer it :)

    Then ill probably add a window :)

    nice modding with the colour scheme :D i am going to watch this as it is a time case too :D are v. difficult to mod how do you get around the cd drive slides?

    Ive widened the holes behind to allow more light through, i might put a bright blue/purple/white led behind it pointing down, nothing too extravagent yet tho ;)

    Just a quick update, waitin on some blue LEDs to change on my keyboard floppy etc.

    BTW what are my options with my combo drive, I dont wanna spray it as its new?

    find/make a new bay cower and tape it on with double sided tape or something... :dremel:

    i think the floppy won't look too obvious on the front though - it's painted the same colour which is pretty dark... I not really a great one for plain fronts. if you want to hide your drives get a door! otherwise make them fit in - it's more interesting that way...

    These are the new feet, got them from B&Q for about £10 each (eeek) They look good tho ;)
