that case is looking 100x better! with what you have to work with i think you have done a sterling job.
agreed you need to paint the cdrom. if it's out of warranty then why not? The front fascias usually come off with too much difficultly and it work finish the whole job.

I hate to say it; but that time machine of yours is looking prettty good.
I did something similar to my time machine a while back for fun and practice - just "deconstructed" it up in the end though :D

Thanks for the great replys guys :)

Got some strobes for ya now, not placed them yet just test shots and a MOVIE ;)

    Crappy Movie (Warning Strobe Lighting)

So there ya go, two strobe lights "borrowed" from a alarm system :)
They work on 12v so i simply cut the adapter end off an old charger plug and wired them in ;)

Dunno where im gonna put them yet, ideas would be appreciated.

    P.S

The shock off the 250v cap is a weird sensation :jawdrop:

Nice, do they flash faster than in the video, and your camera is just too slow to pick them up, or are you setting them off individally just to show us??

Also what alarm did you "borrow" them from, and where might I be able to get my mitts on one? :D
