Mmmm learning another paint trick. You're doing an awesome job, as always.
sweet stuff, I've got to keep that paint trick in mind
I thought about doing something like this, it will depend upon on heatsink / fan and # of gpus we get. I'm predicting real "cramped"
you know the inside of this case needs the glow of some valves! lol!
Quite easy to do. They make them all the time on Brass Goggles. Some are actually working tubes/valves or just drill the base for a bright LED.
Cool idea guys!
NZXT's 1200w PSU is assembled with 120mm Antec Red LED fan and mnpctech targeted fan grill painted Matte Black
Quick question - I see those hex bolts a lot around here - what are they and where do you get them?
Apologies for the OT
Amazing this fan grill and the red fan good combination
Not really off topic if it's something to help out.
They are called hex head cap screws in the US - even if they aren't screws. Also called Hex Head bolts.
In the US they come from the local home building stores, Ace Hardware, and on-line from everywhere now that you know the name to look for.
In Australia we just call them Hex Bolts or Hex Screws, even Allen Bolts or Allen Screws because the tool we use to tighten them we call an Allen Key or an Allen Wrench, you Americans will call it a Hex Wrench or something similar.
PSU turned out great Bill. Looks 100% better with the paint job, the new fan and the grill.
Looking good! can't wait to see the handle!
That psu looks sweet like that. Waiting patiently here
Thanks a lot John!
And B4Oz too
this project makes me warm and fuzzy inside.
When is the panzerbox going to be released in the UK?
Not soon enough!
End of April sometime...
Wow, that PSU Looks Good, wouldnt mind doing that to mine
The PSU looks so good. It has to be one of the most unique PSUs I have ever seen.
I am going to have to do something like that to my personal PC...
have to say..... one of the best side panels ive seen
Thanks to all the viewers who helped get this project a "Mod of the Month" nomination.
