im not sure what an oscilloscope is, but i was jur going to use a normal laser pointer and make an airtight box with the laser pointer in it which will be modified to run off the psu and will have some sort of gas inside it so it is visible in the air.
ok, ive got a sweet idea to jazz up the right side panel of the case!! stick one of these in it!! itl be sweet, but im wondering about some sort of electromagnetic or electric-type field generated by it? is this possible and potentialy dangerous for my computer?
Dude, I'd be more concerned about your speaker magents wiping your harddisks and messing with your computer. Someone put a mini-plasma globe in the front bezel of their computer, and it didn't seem to cause too many problems. I guess you'll find out when you try it huh? -L6
I used to rest a sub on a hard drive at work to dispel the magnet myth. The magnets in a hard drive are actually stronger than a 12" sub...
my speakers? there arent any speakers within a meter of this thing, if your talking about that speaker mesh i had, thats just mesh, no speakers attached to it anymore. ive been calling it project PCB, and i think that sounds quite good.
sorry i havent posted lately, for i suffer from a disease called lazyness, and it causes me to not do things. here is an update on the front 2 bezels that are like a control and information panel. ill keep working, as long as my meds dont run out.
well, i know i havent updated lately, but i plan on changing that. here is an update on the stuff ive done in the past 2 days. here is a picture of the box which will house the laser and mirrors. here is the laser itself, a laser pointer without a crappy plastic casing. here is the box with the top cut out of it where the plexi will go. box closed the lasers metal cover so you cant see it and the front bezel with the molex and USB connector holes cut out, and the holes for LEDs, the lighting control module and the switch for the laser. EDIT** the molex and usb holes look rough, thats because this pic was taken before i sanded them down, so they are smooth now. as always feedback is appreciated
heres a updated design pic i made using the only program i know how to use, paint. this will either help you to understand or confuse you more. PS. the theme is electric stuff and technology.
1337 paint skilz but seriously most people scetchup me... I dont plan apart from some rough scetches on the back of DDR packets ect...
