My First Case Mod ! :

The pics are working fine for me. Can't wait to see how the case looks finished!

 

Before i go on i must enlighten you about the fact that me and my friend both got the exact same casing and both had decided to mod it.

Moving onwards, After i got this casing what i needed was a PLAN!

On the Side :
2 x 92MMs Over the CPU,NB,RAM
2 x 92MMs Over the GPU.

I decided to cut the side panels and install Arcylic Windows on both the Sides.

For the other fans I decided

1 x 80MM As Intake in the front, for the HD.
1 x 120MM as Intake at the bottom.

2 x 120MM at the top for Exhaust.
2 x 80MM at the top rear for exhaust.
1 x 60MM at the rear.
1 x 92MM PCI Exhaust.

I then got some Plexi Glass from a local store and then made some holes.


Cutted the side panels and made holes for the side panels to fit onto it.

I then decided to install some rubber on the sides ...

It was now time to lighten it up!

I used the Thermaltake Cold Cathode the bottom :


And a cheap ass neon light which i got from my local stores at the bottom :

I have modded my casing uptill here, Any more suggestions before i start installing the hardware in ?



Which of the Side Panels look good ? Should i leave the plexi glass as it is or install the rubber ?

 

Interesting... I did a case like this almost 2 years ago... First major mod.

Case was really loud... you are running 8 fans... tornado is coming.

Thats damn sweet. I wish I had a case that size. You just can't seem to buy them these days Iv found

 

I'll be ordering a Vantec Fan Controller in a few days...
