I received some packages today

I thought I'd would start with the mother board tray.

    Drawing the outline.

    Cut out and ready.

    Mounted on the tray.

So far it looks like this.

    Then the other side.

    UPDATE 06.05.07

This morning I finished all the parts for the motherboard tray.

Ready to pop it back together.

Or not. I only had 3 rivets so I will have to buy some more tomorrow. Here it is half done.

Looks nice :) A few marks in the carbonfibre or just bad angle?

Anyway, it looks better than i thought it would when you started :)

I'm not personally a big fan of the CF sheeting but will see how it looks in the end product... The rest is looking rather well, especially since everything is twice as tough when using your bed as a workspace! ;-)

Thanks man... There are a few marks at the back of the motherboard tray because of the standoff bolts for the motherboard. It's no big problem as this side won't be seen anyway. In the top right corner at the front there is also some marks but the motherboard will cover it. The rest is perfect

Thanks...Hehe...My room isn't very big and the only table is used for homework so the bed is my workspace :dremel:

    UPDATE 06.05.07

Because of homework I don't have time to describe the pictures so they will have to do the talking this time.

I really like the natural weave there. Allot more tasteful then the sheets with black and grey sqaures! Well done! That was a great idea!

Lovin the carbon fibre, and as far as i can tell your case is gonna look very light with all the low weight material in it lol.

    Thanks guys!

There will be a lot of uv green acryl that covers some of the carbon fibre so in the end I don't think it will be to much...

It's really impressive work you've done with the carbon fibre. That kind of dedication is inspiring! But it's late so I'll just cruise the forum.

Ever heard the phrase , "too much of a good thing can be a bad thing?" The carbon looks really good but I hope you have something else to balance it out with.
