    Project: PlexiCase

    Hi there! :)

I'm new here so I will demonstrate myself shortly..

My name is Antti Paasivaara. I am 16 years old student from Finland, Helsinki.
I'm interested of Case Modding, LAN-Parties, Website & GFX making etc. computer
    related things..

But lets go to the business:

My modding career started about 2 years ago when I dedicated some kind of Shark -
model case. I put blue cold cathode into case and cut the original window to the case.
But.. next year I bought a new case which is AOpen H6000 B and also some new components
    from finnish, good webstore: www.verkkokauppa.com

I also bought some cathodes etc. modding stuff from www.only4pro.com
The case looked like this before this mod:

And now we are in present-day.. I bought last week "Alphacool basic Set 80, Socket A"
WaterCooling System and some green UV-colorant from www.coolputer.fi
Also I had to buy new RAM-memory and new CD-burner. I selected
    Kingston 512mb DDR 266mhz and Plextor 52x..

    Components of my Case:

    MSI K7T 266mhz Pro 2-U
    AMD Athlon XP 2400+ 2000mhz
    GeForce 4 Ti 4400 128mb TV-Out
    Plextor PlexWriter PX-W5224TA/T3BC
    2x Kingston 512mb DDR 266mhz
    2x Maxtor 80gb 7200rpm
    AOpen H6000 B
    Antec 350W Power

    Step 1

I have removed components from my case and made some planning. I
got idea to make own acrylic case, but I got also couple of problems there
so I decided to make the acrylic case using the default AOpen bole of case.

    Step 2

I bought some acrylic from Etola.

Second step was to make holes to bole.

    Step 3

I installed acrylics to case. Just testing.. :)

    No image available.

    Step 4

I visited in MotoNet and bought 2x silver spraypaints and 1x lacquer
I painted the bole of case on silver and used lacquer to it

    Step 5

Also I painted front panel on that silver and used lacquer to it

It seems that I've got a big problem in my PC.. :wallbash:

I uninstalled the USB-block before this mod, but I were configured sound to front panel. If the amplifiers wire is in front panels USB-block (there is a place for sound..) and I have been configured the sound to it (the sound will hear if the amplifiers wire is setuped to front panel) If the amplifiers wire is in back so you can't hear the sound becouse it had configured to forward
So I uninstalled the USB-block from front panel and I installed after that jumpers to sound place in motherboard. But unfortunately I took wrong jumper away and.... :duh: BIOS-adjustments were gone to defaults and some Windows-adjustments were confused.

And last mistake / bug was that I changed Windows Theme to Windows Classic and all were full of black after that. I tried to fix it with no good result. So.. next step was to use Format C: :waah:
I have installed some programs and drivers today so modding lodged today.
    PC is working!

I will mod the case to end in next week.. I hope so :)

New components will be here in Monday.. WaterCooling System, new RAM-comb and new CD-burner. :)

I will also visit in Etola and Starkki if I have time at that time..
I hope that you have understood my English ^^

I like ure ideas, those 2 pipes at the top, are they carry handles? Or are they just Watercooling pipes? Your English is a little hard to understand but its not that hard to figure out. Looking good so far.

    New RAM-memory were broken. :sigh:
    Some kind of technical bug.

I must go tomorrow to land with my family, maybe.. and friday in Lohja to see our new cottage so I don't know when I'm free to mod my case.

    Cathodes & FANs

    UV-cathodes
    [IMG]

Which one is better? Left FAN is blue LED-fan. I will uninstall the blue LED's of it, b'cause green & blue colors don't hit together so good.

Gold screws (maybe I will put these somewhere..)

Drinn, when you take your photo's, it may help to aim the camera down a little. Some of your shots are great and others not so hot - the camera's trying to focus on the background :(
