I just thought that I would pop in and tell you that you are doing a fantastic job on this case. I really love the way you integrated the wood and plexi. Simply marvelous!!! I am patiently awaiting the finished product so that I may drool on my keyboard again..
I don't know what happen with pics ! so sorry for this problem, it must be the host... for now I havent try the flame polish because the sanding finish take me lot of time (much more than I thought) thanks for your comment you ll have to be patient to see finish product because this painting is a very hard job and I have not lot of time to it for now
Simply astounding work... never seen such nice handcrafted case in wood as yours. Keep it up my fellow Belgian
thank you my belgian friend happy to see compatriot here my stuff with painting is a little bit in stand-by because I have got enormously work at my jobsince one week but I hope that the next week will leave me more spare time to continue the project
it s the weekend then i work on my project, I have made a big mistake by using the green mastic which made cracks everywhere on the case then I put polyester mastic every where bu!t it takes lot of time her is the polyester i use: left and right panels: and some places where there were some cracks:
well, i have to sand the whole case now and after apply the filler and re-sand all to see where it always stand some imperfections... always lot of work on it , I hope to finish it this year but it is not on wright way for it...
I have never liked wooden cases... and still I don't... but you are making such a perfect and great finish with it so I just love your case!! You are getting all the scrathes away so it looks totally awesome!! i really love your case!! absolutely the best wooden case ever made!! // Chris
All the world is a stage and the people are just Modders in disguise.... must controll the begging for more updates... If you have any problem with the wood poking through the places you sand and it gets rough... use a wood sealer to make it harder and easier to sand smoothly... Sorry it came so late...
thank you all, wicked > I don't make lot of update for now because the sanding process is always the same thing and then pics are relativly the same, the problem dont come from wood parts but from the green mastic i used first... thank you for helping me with your ideas now i m searching for another mastic to get a good finished surface, does anyone can tell me what is the best one I can use?
Filler Great case, I am a woodworker here in the states and really have enjoyed this forum. Have you thought of trying car auto body filler? It's called bondo here in the U.S. McBug
