I think you should also paint inside; may be not a superb job like outside but not the bare wood.
"I am not worthy - I am not worthy!!
Again GREAT job...
So much for that "late night" video tonight... I'm spent
anyone else thinking super bright white led's? with a blue interior : P Either way itl look schweet
well the interior parts which aren't paint will be masked by these black lexan panels :
personnally I prefer using ccfl because I think that diffuses the light with in a more uniform way, I m thinking about giving an UFO effect for the ground with a white 30 cmccfl i have or a red one but if I goes for red I have to buy it
two shots to see the differnce between without and with the varnish
this varnish give to it a much more mat effect
Well I had been reading this thread since it started but I had forgotten about the begining, anyway it was nice you gave some motive to go back and see all of it again.
You have wonderful idea for this case. It is coming out great and will really reflect your hard work. Good job!
Dude this is sweet......how much did you spend in bondo????
Keep up the good work, you are giving g-nome a run for his money!?!?!?!
so sorry but what does mean "bondo" i don't understand this word
He's talking about the filler you used to give the outside of the case a smooth finish, killer looking case you have made there as well, excellent job.
ok thank you, I used 3 cans of filler and all the products ( filler, primer, color, sand paper, and mastic , cost myself about 60€ to get this result
i hope you get those paint coats to stay, looks good besides the pain not workin right, but thats not a problem
Good Job keep up the excellent wood work
here is a little test of the lightning
nothing is fixed for now because the varnish is not dry enough
well thanks all for comments
I hope that too

I've been gone for the past few weeks, so I haven't gotten to post. All I can say is that turned out better than I ever could have imagined! Also, it's good to see that you didn't rush through the prep for the painting, and leave scratches and holes in it. Really, really nice job!
Great paint job, the work you have put in to your case has been exceptional, keep it up. I can't wait to see it with the side panels on.
