i found these in my grandfather's workshop
it must be older than I
I must give you my congrats on excellent work!
Just when I thought I'd seen almost every possible "casemod" you come along with something I've never seen before! Great idea and excellent work on the case! I also admire your work with fabricating your own parts!
The look of your junction box is very cool, I think the case would look awesome with that same finish!
thank you very much for comments guy , i had finished the back of the case and left window too but i was tired yesterday and holidays are finicshed for me now , well it s time to go to work may be i ll post some pics tonigh or tommorrow if i ve got any time
except for the post I cant read (hey I am a yank I barely read English ) I am blow away with this mod, one of the best and most original I have seen in a long time, the level of work just blows me away. I would rank this right up there with ZapWizzards ammo case mod, and the Gnomes ORCA'3 mods. I am just blown away with the level of work, and the thought that you had to put in to it.

Question: why is your case so big. I preffer case small as it can be.
Good Work, I like it.
LMAO, Sounds familiar I usually raid my fathers shed hey I cant help it that he’s got loads of usable gear . O well maybe the car shop has them
resetter> may be it s possible i dont know or you can search shop which exclusively sells gummy articles
tomek> the case is not so big, its mesurements are 51cm /47cm/22cm (i dont know how much inches it is )
thanks for comments it's really gratifiant for me
well new pics of my work
the junction box and appearance I m going to give all cables which will not hide, the red thermo will be replace by black one i have to buy
I m searching for others screw to shut the box...
this is the hole for the cables coming from double ground and entering junctin box and the half hole is for cables coming from powersupplies and descending behind motherboard
thats the system i made to hide the // lcd cable: hide by motherboard and going through backside of case betwwen pci'sopen and case
then I had cut the backside panel, it s made with two lexan pieces: one to hold the fan and the grill , one to give a good exterior finished
and the panel to shut ground case
hole to fix the panel
hole for extract fan
the panel is screwed to case
Looking good, I cant wait for when it is time to remove all of the masking tape, Its going to look awsome. Are you polishing the edges of the plexi?
Sorry, didn't see you were still updating. Looks awesome, great job on the hole in the plexi.
the exterior fan hole
I polished it with this
good work but i wondered myself how I will going to fix the pci cards because there is not enough place to put screw on it then i decide to use thumbscrews but i had then to make place for it and that will be next update
I cant wait too yes i ll plished every edges , i will do this during the painting
Perhaps you could use an angle pracket to run along the tops of the PCI slots. Then you could "thumbscrew" that into the case. It would keep the PCI cards from coming out. Many cases from retail outlets like Dell and Gateway use a method like that. I'm trying to find an image of what I'm talking about, but not having much luck yet. I'll post it up if I come across one.
thank you very much i see exactly what you re thniking, I ll think about it
I haven't seen so nice case for very log time.
I can't wait to see more pictures.
I also want to show you something, maby it helps You to find another intersting conclusions.
It isn's so advanced as yours, but...it's small
Keep it up.
tomek - Thats not a small wooden case. This is a small one.
And it has a built in sound system!!!!!
Oh, should have said this too
piloux - your case is EXCELLENT
I know, i know...
But, mine case is based on standard MicroATX components. I can replace everything without drilling and cutting.
Prime directive: use standard components to change entire configuration.
Thit case is 3 years old.
Now I have a newHDD, CD-RW, VGA, front panel.
Cut the hijacking OK? He is building a magnificent case and you are argueing over other wooden cases, no need for that...
that is one sweet looking case. GREAT job, piloux!
well it s clear that my case is bigger than these but my thought was to build a desktop tower for the atx norm, may be i ll build another one more little when this project will be finished... moreover my desk is very large
im very happy there are lot of people who love my work
my today work : I haven t work a lot but I think you are interesting by the continuation :
I have cut the corner of backside panel
I thought about the screws for pci slot and found solution:
I used this skill :
and I work with it on the plexi in front of each pci slot
that's the result :
now I can easily screw into pci slot with my hand
here is the cutting of left window, it s made of lexan like the all pieces but I wonder myself if i will changed later for colour acrilic?
I cut it with hacksaw
I havent work on it any more, i will have to adjust this and then polish the edge
that goes on
