    Hello everybody !
Hope you remember me, I opened a thread few months ago about the project - http://forums.bit-tech.net/showthread.php?s=&threadid=41521

sorry about the pics there :blah:

I stopped it bacaause of many reasons and now I restart it ! :)

I built a special wood case,
it's not too little for a HTPC, it's 37*46*18 cm

Coming along nicely but are you sure a 40gb drive will be sufficient? Also you may want to warn 56k people in the title due to a lot of pics :)

Very, very nice colors! UV rocks! Nice wooden case too, kinda 'worn' appearance, original. Keep up the good :dremel:

just a suggestion, maybe you should put the inverter thats on top of the HDD under the PSU. And, perhaps take it out of the blue case to fit in with the rest of the PCBs.

Nice job so far! Keep up the good work!

Also, what are the wires coming off the MoBo in this pic?

EDIT: Took out pic to save his bandwidth!

yes, I thought about the inverter, (if you mean the blue one) but I didnt start with the cathodes...
The blue inverter is not the el-cable's one.
the inverter of the EL is already under the PSU...

The wires of the MoBo - the right one is the momantary ON button,
and on the left it is the audio cables

the blue one is the Cathode's one.
when i will start to work on the LEDs and CCFL lighting, I will hide it under the PSU :)

    Thanks again,
    Avner

Looking really good, Avner. The way the paint on the heatsinks reacts to the UV light looks unreal.

Did you paint those heatsinks? Wouldn't the paint cause it not to cool as effectively?

    Yes, I painted these heatsinks,
but such a thin layer of paint won't effect so much...

I have always figured paint work mess up the heat transfer.. but who knows.. what are the specs of this stuff?
