Yes it is truning out great... now what are you going to do with the front of the case... as to the cdroms, power, etc...
WOW, that's simply a beautiful case and nice craftmanship on it! I like how it's looking and can't wait to see the finished case! Keep up the good work! DDK
OH PLEASE GOD tell me where you got the spring loaded 1/2 ID tubing....I HAVE NEED THAT STUFF SOOO BAD ....sorry having a heart attack after finding what I have searched and searched for lol, thanks
The springs are individually from the tube. I got the springs with my first watercooling set long long ago. It came with the Senfu set and I inserted them in this tube. I don't know where you can buy them. But just search for really long springs or something like that. Sorry if I can't help you.
As you can see in the picture. I mounted it with 4 screws and nuts. And I used a rubber between each screw and the chassis for vibrations.
The pump has got a big piece beneath it which is removable. That piece got 4 holes in it. First you remove the piece from the pump, screw the piece to the chassis (like I said in the earlier post) and then click the pump to the piece again. I hope you understand what I mean.
What are those springs made out of? probably steel or aluminum... watch our for galvanic corrosion. What size tubing is that? 3/8" ID? That level of bending would be impossible with 1/2" (or I'd have done it too.) Real nice project man! I'm looking forward to the completition.
OMG that is very very nice! i wouldn´t dare cutting holes in a brand new Lian Li chassie Maybe it´s because i don´t have that much money But your Lian Li is really nice
Yeah, I understand what u mean now, so the pump can be removed, but the bit it fixes onto will still be on the chassis. I want to do the same, I have the same case(but black) and am most probably gonna get the same pump and seems like a good way to secure and hide the pump! Where did you route the power cable?
Sweeeeeet! you have done some icredible work here. you know in my experience modding is not hard it is just time consuming and requires only a great imagination and you certainly have that!! WZ
