Project |Red Wolf| - By Shadowcaster Prelude I somehow scored this really nice case. It's from a brand that doesn't seem to exist anymore, "Freeway Design". But it's pretty big, and it's about time I posted a mod. I don't want to hack it up too much. But I want to change the entire front cover. Alright, this is what I got for it right now: - Freeway Design D850GB (Black) - Corsair Cool Water Cooling Kit - Abit IC7-G (Pentium 4) - Pentium 4, 3.0GHz HT - 450Watt L&C PSU - Pair of Artic Cooling Freezer 64’s to cool the above - 2x 512Mb Nanya Technology PC3200 - Gigabyte 6600 GT - Pair of Maxtor 120GB - HP DVD burner with Lightscribe and Dual-Layer - ZBoard keyboard (Damn that thing is cool) I'll set up the discussion log in the next post
Project Link Alright, I was defintaly thinking of going with a red theme, so I've already ordered some red acrylic. But I want to completely change the front cover. What do you guys think?
Alright, I got the discussion thread up. Here's the Link. I wanted to start on the psu before anything else. Because I've already modded this thing before. I was going for the whole rusted look style. But now I'm going to sand it all down and I was thinking a dark grey, sort like the Machinatrix look. That was before I modded it. The rivets on the side have got to go too. I'm not sure how yet, though.
Looks to be a copy of an Akasa Eclipse: http://www.akasa.co.uk/akasa_english/spec_page/cases/spec_ak_bkcse_01.htm# Hope this helps you out some.
Well its a good idea, but what are you looking to do with the red theme, ATi or what? And what brand is that PSU out of curiosity?
Well, I want a red acrylic, and black and dark grey paint theme. Dark red though, nothing light. The PSU was a L&C cheapo from xoxide. But it's been good to me, so I have no problem with it.
