    Update coming soon.
I kinda messed up the front faceplate with some envirotex leaking out where I didn't want it.
I am designing and testing the Qwheel circuit, once all the circuits are made I will build a new faceplate.

Zap it would be nice for a update but from seeing all the work you have done so far take as much time you need, heck even go on vaction because this is a A+ job you got going on.

I am kind of on vacation (from modding)

Basicly I have a contract at work that is letting up soon, and I am securing a new job (hopefully same company). That limits my time and money for modding.

I have revised some ideas though.
Rather then use a QT140 4 sensor touch IC, I have decided to make little pop-in modules, each with their own QT110 IC, LED and connections. That way I can move some of the circuitry into the faceplate, rather then a seperate PCB.

The QWheel circuit is designed, but I need to order the parts to prototype it.

Well take all the time you need because if you are left without a job, well lets just head to the equation below:

    Code:
    Zapwizard + Job = Cash = Modding

    BUT

    Zapwizard + Unemployment = x

x = well, lets just put it this way, we dont want to know.

LOL...problem is that my contract is expiring, I get no benifits from the gov.
I already have a few interviews lined up, so I shouldn't have too much of a gap in modding.

I've really enjoyed the project (just finished reading the whole thread); I'm always impressed by your ability to tackle problems that seem insurmountable. Good luck with the interview!

For your resumé, just slide the interviewer a piece of paper with only the URL to your BitTech profile page. Presto, instant job. :D

Good luck in your search - I'm sure you'll do fine. In the meantime, we'll wait patiently for an update.

It does depend on the company were he's applying for a job. I would hand a over a link to this mod if I were applying at some kind of wellfair company against the chopping of wood of the rainforrests :nono:

But Nevertheless, it does show your creativity and "handyman" skillz :dremel:

zap, with your obvious talent for designing beautiful cases, perhaps you should join intel and apple in their new merger and make the worlds finest p4 mac case.
