If you look at the renderings of the guts of the system: http://www.zapwizard.com/Projects/wood/version3/05.jpg I am using watercooling, with a dual 80mm black-ice radiator. MiLwOrkZ, i look forward to you pics (please though, when you post them, make your own thread)
The detail is absolute! great work on the speakers. That link you posted abow, is it possible to make a 3D view of that pic? It would be really nice to see? this is if you are fumilliar with 3D. Looking forward for more!
Damn man! that is a really awesome project youve got going along! Those are the exact speakers i was going to get, but i was planning on covering them with carbon fibre (real, not sticker) Keep the mod going strong... i want to see how awesome this turns out SUBSCRIBED!!!! take care man
Quick stupid question...what speakers are those? And how do you like them? I guess a lot if you are taking the trouble to do that to them.
...I clearly specified the speaker type and even linked to the manufature's website. Amazon.com has them at the best price with free shipping. I got mine overnight even! I like them a lot, very crisp, and a supprisingly powerfull sub. Razor_cut, I know what you are asking, I will render some up at home. My work laptop crawls under the stress of ray-tracing.
Yeah those speakers are very nice. What I am running right now. Unfortunately I got em for about 95 at best buy a while back. Had a gift certificate I had to spend on something. Wood is lookin great man, really classy. Look right at home in an office setting.
any progress with the mouse???? that MX1000 works with that wood mouse pad? looks very shinny my mx1000 works nice with normal wood...
As requested, real 3D renderings. To view them cross your eyes till the images line up, and volia see 3D! If your screen isn't wide enough: http://www.zapwizard.com/projects/wood/version3/3D.htm
I still have my stereoscopic glasses that game with my old Ti4600 Fantastic for viewing 3D images if your monitor supports the high refresh rate. Layout is looking good, I like the high quality wood finish on everything.
Oh my god, that is freaking cool how you did the 3d image! By the way, I really like your project. All of your work so far has turned out top-notch, and I'm sure that this one won't fail to amaze, either. WooT!
I still can't do those 3d crosseye things. never have been able to, probably never will be able to. give me those stereoscopic glasses anyday (my dad has them for the GIS imaging rig - he teaches that kind of thing)
outstanding work so far, like all your other projects! Any info on the HW speccs yet? (maybe i missed it if you have already told us).
