Project: Resident Evil Apocalypse Mod? Lack Of Funds...Set Back

Hey, I Was Thinking About Doing A Resident Evil Mod Based After The New Movie, Resident Evil: Apocalypse. I'm thinking About Including The T-Virus Container, Like So..

as well as the Anti-Virus...

(yes i'll add the tray in it too)

And On The Side Have The Umbrella Corporations Logo...
and Etched On The Window Will Be....


I'm just not sure what colour i should paint the case...any suggestions?

Paint the case red and the skelleton black, or the other way around.

Anyways, try to use the colors on this wallpaper,


and try to etch on plexi or cut out that resident evil logo. Also try to use that map in the backgroud for something. If you have dremel skills, then that map can become quite a cool etch

 

Or maybe you should make a mod with the theme of the game rather than the movie:

Anyway, I'll Start By Getting The Paint and All, If I'm Not Accepted For The Male Modeling Thing On Friday Nite, It's $45 And If I'm Not Selected I Get My Money Back. Anyway, I'll Probably Start On Saturday By Getting Paint Or Materials To Build The T-Virus and G-Virus Containers...

 

Can I make a suggestion for the Virus containers. Maybe it will save you some headache/money.

Ready? It's brilliant. Ok...here goes...

Use Plastic Crazy Straws. Seriously, check it out...



Plus, if you run them under HOT water, you can bend them even more, any way you want...keep them in that shape, let them cool, and they will hold the shape.

Then just use and acrylic tube to house them. (if you can't find small acrylic tubes, I have HUNDREDS of them, PM me if you need some).

hey, it would look cooler if the tubes were clear but you use colored liquid, you could even make it part of the cooling sytem, also you shuld find a S.T.A.R.S. fan grill to go with.

P.S. it would also look good is there was a "broken" one with liquid coming out. you could use model railroad water with coloring

Crazy straws inside something like this would be awesome too



to create that spiral affect in those vials in the picture.

Or! If you could attach some of your hoses to the ends of the crazy straws and put a vial around those crazy straws... That'd be sweet!

And I think i'd also just make the case RESIDENT EVIL rather than adding apocolypse or zero or anything after it. It'd give you more freedom to use elements from all the games / movies.

It'd be cool to have one res containing blue liquid and another containing green -- blue to CPU and green to GPU...

I got lots of ideas! This could be a cool mod! Good Luck !
