possibly the best project since orac in my opinion, that keyboard rocks, especially if the white plastic surround gets illuminated. (and ofcourse, I love the T-Virus tubes)
no big update but it was a lot of work now the logo is glued, sanded and polished this is the best i could do, only with a hand saw... i am still searching for a possibility to light the logo but it looks cool Vito Corleone
Hmm, about dimpling or rounding in the edges of your umbrella, you could always use a sizeable holesaw catching just that portion of the edge. It looks very, very nice so far - keyboard and virii especially.
dude you rock! Helix's are awsome, I seen a Us site were I bloke did something samilar, but dude yours ROCK......I hope I may us your HELIX guide in my mod? pleeeeazee
Very nice work... how'd you hook that keyboard up? what's the glowing ornage stuff in the top of your CPU block? What's the waterpath look like in your northbridge block? I can't tell from the picture.
thanks @Tulatin yes, that would be possible, but i dont think ill change it there are still so many things to do... @Hellboy787 of course you are allowed to use my guide for your mod but do you have the url to the us site ? @Starbuck3733T at the pictures you can not see any cable, because the controller was not mounted yet later the keyboard will be connected by usb this orange stuf is 3mm plexiglas, uv-reactive the sealing between all the plates is a very thin silicon foil the waterpath in the nb water block is very simple the water flows just from one adapter to the other, the slots in the block are there to increase the turbulences, wich is better for the heat transfer very simple, but enough for the nb
i am back i a few posts ago i showed you my problems with the case i got a new one but this got some ugly dent too so i only use some parts of the case the rest will be build by me here are the 2mm alu plates ill use i also got all of the fittings for my water blocks now the reservoir i used a plexiglas sphere normaly you use them at christmas time here are all parts i needed for the res all glued together and it works this is the position it will later be mounted in the front of the projekt but youll see and in the end some nice pic of glowing in the dark Vito Corleone
Just noticing... Is the northbridge block mounted incorrectly? Looks like the channel in the copper is perpendicular to the barbs...
Dude, seriously, those helixes are about the coolest looking, most creative things I'v eseen in a case mod in a LOOONG time!!! Props to you for doing something like that. This project looks great!!!! Can't wait to see more!
Hey Vito Corleone, Any chance you could share that Umbrella wallpaper? That is sweet! What is the size of the wallpaper? 800x600 or 1024?? Laters, Capt. Ruger
thanks @JaredC01 yes with this block i wanted to try something new in this cooler the channels are perpendicular to make some turbulences over the nb i hope to get better temperatures than with a normal design @Capt. Ruger 1024 ill promise ill share it when the projekt is finished but at the moment i want to have a unique wallpaper for the mod Vito Corleone
Thanks for replying so quickly. I look forward to seeing the final product of you MoD. Looks like everything is shaping up to be a kickass MoD!! Laters, Capt. Ruger
*subscribed* Sweet looking case.. I really like those colours in the WC blocks... Damn I hate my boring Zalmann cheapo blocks!!
This is absolutely awesome. Umbrella Corp is my favorite part of the Resident Evil series. Great work!
thanks @zachjowi at the moment i am working on some al parts and the case itself but the main reason was a hardware update of my main computer with some water blocks which had to be build before but there will be a update soon
