    Wow Awesome build m8!

Aren't you afraid on those GPU temperatures? For what i can tell, in the time you took the screeshots the PC was idle, so having 70ºC - 80ºC seems a little too much xD
I know you will work it out, not a easy task anyway thats for sure. Take care

Thanks! Yeah, it was idle, but the system fans were just idling as well. It doesn't run much hotter when gaming, as I turn up the fan speeds. There's no doubt the cards run a little hotter than in most cases, but considering what I have stuffed in here, I think it's reasonable. Nvidia tests the chips to run close to 150, but most cards will start throttling down around 125 (if you don't already have any artifacting.) That leaves me quite a bit of headroom. :D

Just like a modder - never content - You could "how about" and "what if" forever. Modding is like chopping Harleys - never quite "done".
I love it the way it is. Congrats on an excellent build.

first things first, whats a bioport...?

lol, this machine looks awesome. they should make a new study in computer engineering called CraigModilogy. this machine is an absolute monster and literally undefinable. cant call it a matx, cant really call it an atx, cant really call it a htpc or server, well u cant call it anything.

sorry about the problems you got hit with it. what games do you play? maybe we should all join you to celebrate lol... maybe.

Just crazy project. I guess I already said it 20 pages ago, but just crazy.

Good work all over the place, I can't believe you pulled it through and even the temperatures are superb. Good work! Looking forward to your next projects (hopefully many o' them!).

damn nice. 437w pelt is insane. I used to run a 172w pelt and that was enough trouble.

Wow, this is the best computer build I have looked at. Simply amazing, and wtf, subzero temps, with all that mess in there:brrr:!?! Seriously, wow. Hope you get everything fixed.:D

I would like to see the basement when finished.

And i want you to build me a car next. No, seriously, can you..?:eyebrow:

    Rock on!

You are using SLI 8800GTX's aren't you Craig??? Those temps are fairly normal. I used RivaTuner to bump up the fan speeds on mine. The auto setting doesn't exceed 25% fan speed. I put mine up to 60% and it works a dream. In 3DMark 06 at stock 'auto' fan speed my core temp hit 101*c as its max temp. The new fan speed doesn't push it past 65*c.

Thanks John! You're right, it's so hard to be content. I keep telling myself to stop and enjoy being 'done' for once, but I can't help it. Last night I partially disassembled the Rogue already... The parts for shortening the video card cables came in, and I just had to start on that. While apart, I already decided to change a few small things, including getting a new top for the DDC pump. I might as well investigate the non-working fan controller LED, and USB hub while I'm at it. Doh, I just can't leave it alone long enough to enjoy it!

I'll weigh it when done, but it's got to be around 60 pounds...

A bioport? Um, better PM E.E.L for an explanation... I don't need that kind of derailment here... :D

Thanks for the compliments though. You're right, it is a little undefinable. I'm not even sure what to call it.

As far as games, I try to find the time to play TF2 and COD4 when I have the chance.

Thanks man! The (water) temps should get even a little better once I clean up that clutter. I doubt the CPU temps could get any colder. Actually, I don't know if many of you realized this, but the CPU temps could very well be lower than -26. That's about the lower limit of most temperature monitoring software. :eeek: :brrr:

So far, so good. Although I'd love to know what kind of wattage this thing is pulling at the plug. I'd probably be shocked...

    Red is the new blue!

Thanks man! I'm looking forward to seeing what you might do with your Rogue!

No doubt. Tight might even be an understatement... Can you believe air moves through here at all? :thumb:

    Thanks! You're too kind!

The basement should be finished in a week or so. They are coming to lay carpet on the 10th, so I have to be ready.

What kind of car would you like? Keep this in mind though, I've been working on this since last November, a car may take a bit longer... ;)

Yeah, I'm using the GTX's in SLI. I've been meaning to play around with RivaTuner and the fan speeds, but it hasn't been a priority yet.

my old wood case with a steel frame/interior and water cooling with 2 rads was somewhere around 60-70lbs. I have a picture of it on a scale somewhere.... So 60lbs for this SSF case isn't out of the realm of possibility.

    Ahah, here it is: [IMG]

80lbs. Was a PITA to work on.

Wow. The resivoir looks great filled with coolant! And those Dakota Digital gauges.../drool. The whole thing just looks absolutely SICK Craig. We all know you'll get the kinks ironed out, but at least 99% of the time-consuming fab work is done! That's gotta be a plus.

P.S. You'll have to be sure to let us see the end result of the basement when you're finished ^^

This is one of the best. I would let him build my house =o. He can build my house, and build me a computer in every room =). Craig, I absolutely love the desk inset in the basement. I love this case because it looks like a motor.
