Check again, my friend, as I am running WIn7 and it works perfect --- I got some LEGO Technic wheels, but ....... I dont like it, way to slim. Here with an old webcam as example. That just is wrong, so I looked for wheels at ebay and sorts, but they all come in pairs of 4. Found this at the local garage-sale: a toy car for 0.50 euro cents. But I needed 6, so i threw in another whole euro ! This is much better !
I spraypainted the black spfere in dull-white, but because of the tracking motormovement inside, I could not paint the front half. The shortened rod with the rubber beside it. And mounted to the cam. The painted hubs with the tires. Too bad not 6 exact the same, but it will have to do. Assembled the wheels and connected the LEDs. What do you think of my webcam mod?
What do you propose I should do ? Paint the rims on the inside white, is the only thing i can think of. This is pretty much.... it.
Definately paint the insides of the rim. Also a few red spots are still visible on the outside. Paint those spots also. Find another antenna for it. It should be possible to find one that mach the rover better. Dont know if your into shading. But that would give it a more realictic look. ( Its basically when you add water to paint making fake shadows on items). Thats what i can think of for now
really? I didnt think that would make a difference, but ill try it first by editing a picture And i will keep an eye out for 6 new wheels, with the measuerments I need, AND a new antenna. But... as always; it has to be low-budget ( Still beeing unemployed...grrrr..) Thanx guys for the input, much appreciated ! Just for good measure, I replaced the sphere with my old webcam sphere and made the last two winter pictures. And finaly I put him beside two of his friends....
Rally nice my friend! If you only could fit 6 identical wheels it would have been better but I am impressed and with that! Mod on bro!
